5 Hour Energy Site Updates, Contests and Social Revolution

I always try to keep an eye on what's going on in the world of Energy Drinks and it looks like this blogger's favorite energy shot 5 Hour Energy has updated their site and joined the social media revolution with a new blog, MySpace and YouTube page. They also have a new "quirky" Ask the Energy guy section along with a cool new fan zone section that allows fans to submit stories, photos and video of their experiences with 5-Hour.

Why are you telling me this, you may ask? Well, 5-Hour Energy has all sorts of new features and contests that allow you to win free 5-Hour Energy Shots! Currently there are two contests going on.

"Name the Energy Guy Contest" is a contest to name the infamous running guy found on the logo of all 5-Hour shots. The winner of this contest gets a free 12 pack of the flavor of your choice! My vote is for "Van Slam the Energy Man!" Yeah I know it's a little long but if you don't like it go suggest your own name for the running guy.

"Become a 5-Hour MySpace Friend Contest" - is a contest promoting 5-Hour's new social platform on MySpace. I love this contest, no thinking involved whatsoever! All you have to do is become a friend of 5-Hour on MySpace and you are entered to win a free 12 pack of the flavor of your choice!

Besides these contests where you can win free product, it looks like 5-Hour Energy has created a "fan zone" specifically for the energy lover! So far my favorite page in the fan zone is the "Ask the Energy Guy" section. Check out the question and answer section it's down right hilarious.
