So you wanna go hardcore? Well then the lineup of Harcore Energize Bullets may just be the 2.9 ounce shots you have been looking for. These Energy Shots are made by isatori Technologies which also manufacturers and distributes other workout and performance related products. So the bullet comes in a rather large bullet shaped 2.9 ounce test tube/ vial. I say rather large because it is at least twice as big as your typical shot (about 6 inches tall). Really not to much other general information about Hardcore, except to read over the multiple warnings on the drink "Warning: Extremely Poten" "Do Not Exceed Recommended Dosage." Ok, I read some of the warnings (believe me there are quite a few), now I want to try to see if it is actually hardcore!

Before I even drink the shot, I am a little worried about the taste. It's supposed to be "hardcore" meaning potent in the kick category and it's a shot, both of which are usually detrimental to a drink in my taste review. Well only one thing left to do and that's unscrew the giant red cap and take a swig to see how it tastes... Well, no cringe or bitter energy shot face which is a good thing. To me, Black Rush tastes pretty much like Black Cherry, albeit a little sweet for my taste. Like most shots, Hardcore Energize uses artifical sweetner which is where the "really sweet" taste comes from. However, I would rather have an overly sweet drink then one that was laced with medicinal aftertaste. Taste Rating - 8.6

So the shot was pretty good tasting and was not a problem doing in two quick swigs. But will this "hardcore" energy shot with all the warning labels provide me with the kick I need? Well I was expecting big things as I read the ingredient label before consuming (which I do all the time now after consuming an energy drink with 500 milligrams of caffeine in 5 minutes). The energy ingredients include 769 milligrams of the following proprietary formula: L-Tyrosine, Caffeine, Glucoronolactone, Panax Ginseng, Theobromine, Policosinol and Rhodia Rosea.... Wheh that was a mouthful and a handful of energy to boot. Easily lasted 5 hours, which I can understand as the total amount of caffeine is 300 milligrams... not to bad for a tiny 2.9 ounce shot. The bullet is definitely one of the strongest shots I have had to date! Kick Rating - 9.5

Pretty good tasting shot, especially considering the amount of energy one of these bullets packs!!! Just make sure you head all the warnings before trying one of these bad boys.
