Energy 69 Energy Juice Review
Well today I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to review a drink from across the pond. The Energy 69 Energy juice is a healthy energy drink alternative that is being marketed as a breakfast energy juice. Well not quite available in the US yet, it is widely available in most of Europe. You might be wondering how they got the name Energy 69. Well quite simply the drink has 69 calories per 100 ml. Let's see how it fairs during the review.
Energy 69 Energy Juice Review: Taste
Well after cracking open the 250 ml(8.3 ounce) juice before breakfast I was pleased to have a nice tropical aroma drift out of the can. Even better was the taste. At first it was hard to put a finger on the taste as there were hints of apple, orange, lemon, banana and passion fruit. After a couple more sips I was still not quite able to put my finger on the taste. All I could think of was a tropical juice and after looking at their website I discovered that Energy 69 contains 10 different juices. Overall Energy 69 makes an excellent addition to the energy juice market and I would love to add it to my rotation of morning energy drinks if it was available in the U.S. Taste Rating - very tropical 9.3.
Energy 69 Energy Juice Review: Kick
Well the tropical energy juice is quite pleasing to the taste buds, but does it have enough to get you up and going in the morning? Well there is about the same amount of caffeine in Enery 69 as a Red Bull (about 75 miligrams), but combine that with Guarana, Ginseng, Green Tea extract, B-Vitamins and Maltodextrin gives you plenty of "juice" in the morning. Not to much that is going to rip your gut apart, but if you are used to coffee, this would be a great replacement and the Maltodextrin is a nice touch as it helps sustain the energy longer. Kick rating - a Juicy 8.3.
Energy 69 Energy Juice Review: Final Judgment
The only thing bad about this beverage is that it is not readily available here in the states. A great tropical taste with no medicinal aftertaste what so ever, combined with a pretty decent kick makes Energy 69 juice a perfect morning pick me up. Final judgment - 8.8!
