Rip It Energy Drink Review
Rip It Energy drink comes in several flavors including atomic pom, lime, citrus and sugar free versions. I will stick with reviewing the original Rip It Energy drink. They do not have a very large distribution channel so you probably won't see them in too many convenience or grocery stores. Well I did find one of these drinks at a local store and here is what I think of it.
Rip It Drink Review: Taste
This citrus flavored drink is slightly carbonated and goes down pretty good for a 16 ounce drink. The fact that it is 16 ounces means that it has to taste good or you would have a hell of a time choking it down. I enjoyed the citrus taste of this drink, as it kind of had a bubble gummy aftertaste that is actually pretty good. All in all it stacks up pretty good with the other citrus flavored drinks like NOS, Kabbalah and Vault. I will give it a healthy 8.2 out of ten on the taste scale.
Rip It Energy Drink Review: Kick
It tasted good and went down smoothly for a 16 ounce drink. All in all I was hoping that the kick would be great as well, especially since it was only $0.99. Well I was not disappointed but it was not the strongest energy drink I have ever tried. The kick that the Rip It Energy Drink gave off was a little above par. However, it did not take to long to kick in and it lasted about two to three hours before the effects started to wear off. The Rip It Energy drink review for kick will get a pretty good kick score of 7.8. This drink would be a great after dinner drink to get you through the remaining hours of the day.
Rip It Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
All in all this is a pretty decent drink. The taste was pretty good for a citrus drink, and the kick was fast acting but not the strongest. On the other hand you can't beat the price of $0.99. I don't know if this is the actual price or if the store just had a promotion running. If you can find one of these drinks I would recommend buying them based on what you get for price. It will get the job done and save you money at the same time! I will have to give their other flavors a try as well, the Atomic Pom sounds original. Final judgment 8.0, efficient drink, great price! I will let everyone know if I can get my hands on any of the other flavors!

A good place to find all the flavors is at a local dollar store, the price fits so they stock em!
Winco grocery stores (in the Northwest part of the country) carry these both inside the store and in vending machines outside, both for a dollar.
Where can I buy Rip It drinks in the Fort Lauderdale area? Nobody seems to stock them. Please HELP!!!
I'm pretty sure that Rip It is at all Supercenter Wal-Marts near their Deli department. It is in the open refrigerated portion of the Deli, and is typically on the top shelf on the far right side of the refrigerator
I'm not certain it is at all Wal-Marts, but I have to assume so because it is in any Wal-Mart I have been in since I started drinking it. I work at Wal-Mart and usually have one everyday. It helps me wake up when I have a morning shift.
i work at walmart as well. i am an overnight assembler and i found rip it by mistake one day next to steven segals energy drink in the deli cooler like kevin said before me. during april, may, june, and july i am building 100+ bikes a week with grills too and i need an extra boost after "lunch" if you will at 2am. this stuff is bad ass and i drink the sugar free varieties personally. it is wallet friendly too so pick one up at wl amrt sometime they have like 6 different ones and i seen a new flavor recently so they are making money. i will make this my VPI i think! later..... Don't get me wrong, the price is great, but i mean theres a reason its so cheap, it kinda sucks, i barely got a kick and it went down like soda
Yeah, the price is now printed on the rim of the can as 1.09 so that stores dont rip people off. i like the stinger-mo(tastes like monster) and the power-sugarfree(tastes like candy!) the best they also give a decent kick for me and with the sugar free one i dont get a crash(i almost never crash anyway) i would give it a 9.5 outta ten for the price and availibility alone. there are tons of them in west michican cause that's where the bottling company is located.
The price is always ether .99 or 1.09, depending on the store. And it's at most gas stations in the south.
chugged 2 of them before senior prom, chugged another before six flags the next day, 600mgs of caffiene in <12 hours=FUN. my friends we're very, very ... annoyed ... by me, to say the least. they're cheap, and good when you drink 2+ 24ounce cans 1 dollar @ dollar tree, only have no-sugar :[ "why bother making non-sucrose?"
I just moved to Fort Hood, Texas area and cant find ripits anywhere. They do have them at the Wal-Mart but they never have my kind!! Does anyone know of maybe a gas station or something!?

I sincerely hate RipIts. Some moron managed to get a contract with the Army to get RipIts out to Iraq for us, and yeah, I appreciate the gesture, but when you're up and running for upwards of 120 hours doing combat patrols without sleep and you're drinking RipIt by the case, it gets really old, really fast. Hell, come to think of it, I can't even stand Red Bull or Monster anymore, and Red Bull has been a constant favorite of mine...
Rip it's are in the government supply chain for troops in Iraq in an 8oz mini-can form..

Before Sep 2006, I had never heard of this drink, "RIP IT". However, when I got deployed to IRAQ with my Army unit, I noticed that KBR, the military contracting company that provides food to the military had a stock of them available to the soldiers. I tried a few of them, being kind of skeptical at first, thinking if the military is providing it, then it must not be worth much. But to my suprise, the drink was of good quality. It tasted really good and it kept me and my soldiers awake during those long convoy trips into Baghdad. Although they only provided us the small 8oz cans...they were definitely something that all of the soldiers looked forward to drinking to help keep them alert when needed.

The Rip It Energy Drinks used to be found in Walmart and Winco...but now I can no longer find it there! I can only find it in the dollar tree stores now.
Rip It energy drinks are the bomb.
I work in the security field on the graveyard shift looking after things that might get stolen or vandalized and I need it to stay awake because being alone is boring as hell. So I have one while I eat my lunch and I'm like all wide awake and bushy-tailed till the sun comes up. Thank you Rip It, your product kicks butt!!!

I drink this stuff every morning and it gets me going. You CANNOT beat the price of .99. I get them at the Dollar store near the Philadelphia Intl. Airport. I got so fed up with paying the cost of a Red Bull which is a good energy drink but in my estimation Red Bull is way over-priced.

I tried my first energy drink a week ago, which was a Rip It. My brother loves energy drinks and decided to try one too. they're awesome!
My brother said the Stinger Mo tastes like Monster, but the Rip It is HALF the price! You can't say you're paying for quality when you buy a monster cause Rip It is just as good!
Only one of our gas stations in town sells them, so we've completely stopped going to the other ones. Here they're 99 cents and it's printed on the top of the can.

I have the luck of have one store that haves rip it in stock almost all the time, so i tried every flavor i think could like me, actually, almost 2 hours ago i have one in the flavor power, and tastes very good, and i tried too atomic pom and citrus, something like low carb, and sugar free, i prefer the regular flavors, and the kick to me is very good, actually, in my body is almost like a monster, with less duration, but almost the same strong, im fan of rip ir, cus the price and the results, so i recomend it very much, i love this drink, and for the records, i tried b4 monster, for me the strongest, rockstar in my number 2, rip it in my number 3, pepsi kick in my number 4 and in my number 5 will be red bull, i hardly feel any kick, it didnt give any wings.
I purchase the Stinger Mo variety usually once a day, although the name is downright stupid. They give me a kick early in the morn when I need to get going for class and whatnot. I enjoy the other rip it flavors, but Stinger Mo really does me in. It's similar to Monster but a little gummier, if you will. Fantastic product.
im 13 and i drink these All The Time!!!! atomic pom is da bomb. its the best one they hav. in 2008 i used to drink like two a day of that flavor and im still buyin but not as much cuz its not to good for ya body -_- well im in luck cuz im in the det area (313) and they are at every store you goto around here. man... if you guys really want it u could order it online but it costs alot lol well if u havent tried atomic pom u should i give it a 10/10 rating redbull 7/10 and monster 2/10 rating and thanks for reading this comment :)
stinger mo is the best to my licking (tastes very lose to original monster) my fiance prefers the citrus and has one every morning. current price is now 1.09 now though.

I getting my rip it for $.59 cent at my local store,needless to say I'm stocking my cooler with this goodies,why pay almost $3 bucks for a monster?
I find Rip-it to be:
1. Priced very well compared to other similar energy drinks (Monster, Rockstar, AMP, etc)
2. Tastes very good! (F-Bomb, G-force to name a couple)
3. It's ingredients seem more mild (caffeine content, etc) than its main competitors.
I highly recommend this!
Im 13, and i come from not such a rich family. So i never had money for expensive. I used to drink AriZona tea energy drinks from my local doller tree, but then they started having Rip It in thier isles, so i had to give it a try. Im addicted! I always buy 3 each day. Onr for that night, onr in the morning for school, cause it wakes u up quick, and one in the last hours if school to keep me up during those last boring class. These are da bomb!
Couldn't agree more with this review.
I'm a Monster favorite but its wearing down my wallet, so I decided to try this. Bought the standard "Power" kind, okay taste, more like carbonated fruit punch. Felt rush within 15 minutes! On a side note, had to take a power shit afterwards.

I really like the the sugar free rip it. It has a great taste. I do not drink any other 0 calorie drinks as I hate the after taste that diet pop leaves. It is a great buy for the money. I drink it all the time. I get it at the local dollar store.
I usualy buy red bulls because i trust them as a good energy drink, However, i bought "Rip It" cause it was cheap.... I drank the whole can and felt so wierd :S I felt like i was on a major rush it was almost as if i was high :S i didn't like the feeling at all! maybe i should have only drank half. I wont be buying this again.
Monster has Niacin In It. I do not see Niacin anywhere In Rip It. Is this true ??
I love the taste of the citrus one.... tastes just like the soda "surge" from the 90's
