B-52 Low Calorie Energy Drink Review:
So it has been awhile since I reviewed a low calorie 16 ounce Energy Drink, but the wait is over as today I will be reviewing the B-52 Low Calorie, Sugar Free 16 ounce energy drink. This drink also comes in original and peach flavors. Other than those simple facts, I really don't know too much about this company. So I guess there is nothing to do but get on with the review of the taste and kick of B-52 Low Calorie.
B-52 Low Calorie Energy Drink Review: Taste
I know some of you are thinking, why didn't I just review the Original B-52 first. Well, I tend to go for the low calorie / zero sugar drinks not only for the lack of energy crash, but also because I consume Energy Drinks daily, so I don't want to put on any unnecessary weight.... That being said I wish I would have been able to try this drink sooner as the berry citrus combination (with more of a emphasis on the citrus flavoring) is quite pleasing. It is a little on the sweet side, but overall it is very well done. There is not even a hint of medicinal aftertaste at all. Quite well done, and one of the best low cal 16 ounce drinks I have had in quite some time. Taste Rating - 9.0
B-2 Low Calorie Energy Drink Review: Kick
With no bite and a taste this good, the Sugar Free B-52 can't offer a quality kick. At least those were my initial thoughts. However, with energy ingredients including, caffeine, taurine, gingko biloba, ginseng root extract and a decent size helping of b-vitamins the sugar free low cal B-52 Energy Drink delivered a pretty substantial kick with no crash! It is not the strongest energy drink I have ever had, so I won't be adding it the Best Energy Drink list, but I would definitely recommend trying one. Kick Rating - 8.8
B-52 Low Calorie Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
B-52 in a nut shell - Low calorie, sugar free, great taste, above average kick. Would love to see these drinks go mainstream and become more available. It looks like these drinks are becoming more available in the southern US states as they pick up distribution, but hopefully soon they will start creeping across the rest of the country. I had these samples sent to me, so as of right now I am not 100% positive on which stores carry this, but I do know they cost $1.99 which is pretty good for a 16 ounce drink. So if anyone knows where exactly to get this, feel free to chime in below in the comments section. So stay tuned for the review of the original and peach flavors. Final Judgment - 8.9
