We have all grown up drinking Mountain Dew and some of us even remember drinking Surge. Well Coca Cola has released, Vault Energy Drink which is a cross between the two. How could you go wrong with this combo, it tastes like a soda but has the kick of an energy beverage. Vault the drink has 20% more caffeine than Mountain Dew and tastes eerily similar.
Vault Energy Drink Review: Taste
The vault citrus flavored energy drink tastes similar to Mountain Dew with the exception of an extra citrus kick. The citrus flavor is not as overwhelming as Surge but it is a little much for my taste. I would like to try Vault zero which is the same concept as Vault the drink but without all the calories. I think Vault Zero would get rid of some of the extra citrus flavor that I was not fond of. Vault energy drink does claim that it drinks like a soda and kicks like an energy beverage and I would have to agree with that. The Vault Energy Drink review for taste gets an average 7.

The taste is OK, but how does it measure up in the kick department? The main energy component of this drink is caffeine. It has 70.5 mg per 12 ounce can compared to Mountain Dew's 55 mg per 12 ounce can. Normal people would probably feel the kick, but since I have been drinking caffeinated beverages straight from the nursing bottle I was not overly impressed with the kick. The kick lasted for about 2-3 hours but after that it just fizzled out. This is probably not the drink you want to rely on for that all night cram session. The Vault Drink review for kick gets an average 6.

The taste was average, the kick was average but the price is great. You can buy Vault pretty much anywhere and it comes in 20 ounce bottles or 12 -16 ounce cans and 2 liter bottles. The price is on the same level as your normal soft drink. For the final judgment I would have to give the drink a generous 7.5 because you get more
kick for your dollar.

Vault is scary. Vodka and Vault tastes great, takes away the inhibtions, and puts you in overdrive. Don't let your girl drink it in public.
The new berry flavor is so much better than the original but the original is allright
Vault has saved my life. i used to drink it all the time until a friend of mine(i wont say the name...jesse) ruined it and i will never be able so experience the passion i felt with vault as well as berry vault again.
the berry flavor was not nearly as good as the normal. the kick is not that great. original tastes great. available for $.79 most anywhere i've seen

I had been drinking MD, Surge, Mellow Yellow, any of the citrus drinks. When Vault came out I tried it and thought it had a much better taste than MD. MD even tasted a little watered down compared to Vault, but not quite as strong as Surge. I now suckle on Vault Zero since it tates very similar to Vault, with no calories, and the same caff. I am jsut afraid V. zero will go the wayside as it is harder to find thatn Vault and Diet MD (a waste of a bottle there).

Vault isnt even a energy drink its a pop that the commiecials say its a energy drink IT IS JUST A SODA so dont think you are getting hyper off vault cause it just doesnt happen
i think Vault is to high in caffiene to be drinking,,, it has more caffiene then Mountain Dew and Red Bull,,,not good for you!!!!!
I love vault because it does work and I am able to get the things done throuth the day that I am suppose to do and I do not crash.

vult is awsome, altho it says it's an energy drink i dont get to much of a kick , but it's the cheapest pop/"energy drink out there and the tast is great so i just bye it, and parents dont worry about the caffene because it dosent really hurt children i mean it's like eating chocolat it's nmot good for you but it wont kill you!

Tastes more like a Gin & Tonic (Bombay Sapphire & Tonic, to be exact) than Sprite or Mt. Dew does.

I drank 6 Cans of vault today. I was high on caffiene. You get high after 250 mg apperently . I had about 500mg
I love vault, it make my day. I being looking for a drink like this all my entire life. My wife told me about this drink one day I were feeling all down and out.I needed something to pick me up. So she told me to try this energy drink call vault. Once I drunk the drink about five-ten minutes later I was feeling so good that the things I didn't have energy to do that day I did it and more.Wow!what a stroke of luck.
