Buzzed Low Carb Energy Drink Review
Well today I was in a hurry so I left one of the Energy Drinks I had slated for review on the table. Which means in order for me to get my kick for the day I had to actually buy an energy drink. I needed to get gas as well so I headed to Kwik Trip. I found one that was called Buzzed. I choose the Buzzed Low Carb as I think I gained about 5 pounds this Thanksgiving Weekend. I really do not know much else about this drink besides that it is 16 ounces, costs $1.49 and come in regular and low carb. It also seems to be exclusively available at Kwik Trip.
Buzzed Low Carb Energy Drink Review: Taste
Well the taste on this cheap energy drink is very similar to a Monster Energy Drink with the only difference being that is is quite a bit sweeter. It is actually extremely sweet so the amount of artificial sweetener (Aspartame) used is maybe a little over the top. The tagline on the can "energy with a jolt" is misleading as they should specify that you actually are getting a jolt of sugar taste with a little citrus on top. But for $1.49 it is not horrible, but I don't think I will be trying the regular version as the sugar taste on that one would probably be over the top. Taste Rating - 7.8.
Buzzed Low Carb Energy Drink Review: Kick
Strong sugar taste followed by a pretty decent kick. Buzzed is definitely not one of the Strongest Energy Drinks on the market but it is not too shabby as it is comparable with the likes of a Rock Star Energy Drink. The energy ingredients include Caffeine, Guarana Extract (not sure how much of either) and B-Vitamins. Kick Rating - 8.5
Buzzed Low Carb Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Non-original sugar filled citrus taste followed by a somewhat decent kick. At least there was no sugar crash associated with this one. After all is said and done, $1.49 is not a bad price for this drink. I think $0.99 would get more repeat customers. If you know of another place to get this drink besides Kwik Trip please chime in. Final Judgment - 8.2

You can also get these drinks at the Moble Gas Station. And at Piggly Wiggly. At least you can in Kiel Wisconsin.
These come out of the fountain at most Hucks in Southern IL, one of my favorite energy drinks have one just about every day.....32 oz for 74 cents.
They come from the Family Express chain in northwest Indiana as well.
i can find it at my local Tedeschi's food shop in mass. it's definitely one of my favorite energy drinks. it has a good amount of kick for a normal day (unless you are in need of some serious energy), and the taste is actually pretty good for a 1 50 energy drink
The Quality Dairy chain in the Lansing, MI area recently started carrying it.
THere are some in the local Tediskies, and thank God for that. It has to be the most inexpensive energy drink on the market, but tastes like one of the majot players. When I can pick up a couple of these for the price of a 8oz Red Bull, I am happy to do so.
Good review.
it is made in valparaiso, indaina. so the midwest is probably the only place it is distributed.
The desert fruit variety of buzzed is a must try! Best flavor and great kick.
Seriously why aren't these in more places!?
I love the regular Buzzed but some people have no idea what I'm talking about, I get mine for $1.30 at Kwik Trip in McFarland or Stoughton, WI.
Tastes better than most, is cheaper than most and I get one dang near every morning! lol
This is by far the worst energy drink I've every tasted.
I picked up the dessert fruit flavor, 2 actually, on a 2 for $2 special.
My sister wouldn't even drink hers.
I finally cracked mine open today and tasted it for myself.
Unless you enjoy the taste of crayons and plastic with a hint of fake fruit, skip this one.
