Jolt Energy Drink Review - Blu Rasberry
Alright this is the craziest looking bottle I have ever seen in an energy drink. The thing looks like a battery and it even comes complete with a meter that lets you know how much is left in the can., and it is reseal able. Not that it is practical, but it is pretty neat. Any way, you have to see this crazy can, it is the only reason I really bought Jolt energy drink; that and the fact that I remember drinking the cola when I was a kid. Anyways, on to the Jolt energy drink review.
Jolt Energy Drink Review: Taste
Alright I picked this drink up at the gas station and they had three flavors available; cherry, ultra and blue. Not knowing what the ultra and blue flavors where going to taste like I opted for the blu rasberry jolt energy drink because at least I had an idea of what I was getting. This 23.5 ounce bad boy called Blu Rasberry was somewhat of a gut wrenching bomb as there is a ton of sugar in this drink. Don't get me wrong the taste was pretty darn good, I just was not too fond of all the sugar. I don’t recommend doing anything active after drinking a Jolt, as 23.5 ounces of sugar and caffeine don’t make for a good precursor to flag football. Overall I give Jolt Energy review for taste an 8. It tastes good but stick to playing games online versus playing flag football.
Jolt Energy Drink Review: Kick
The main ingredient in this energy beverage is caffeine (go figure). Another thing that you have to figure into the equation is that the 23.5 ounces of caffeine is supposed to be for three separate servings. This is a lot of caffeine and a lot of sugar to be drank in one sitting. But I did it for you guys and I was shocked.
Being so large I figured that I would get a huge kick, but I was less than impressed. This drink really only gave me a slightly above average kick along with a full stomach. Damn that’s a lot of sugar! Well the kick only lasted about three hours and then the sugar and caffeine pretty much wore off. So I would have to give Jolt Energy review for kick a 8.5.

The good; it is cheap, it is huge and there are 6 total flavors to choose from. The bad; it does not pack a very long or exciting kick and it is huge. Alright, it is a good thing the drink comes in resealable bottle, there is way too much sugar in one of these bad boys for my liking. On the other hand as I stated earlier, if you plan
on doing some online gaming this might be the perfect drink. The final judgment is a solid 8.3, mainly because it is on the cheap side for an energy beverage. You can actually buy them in a 12 pack for about $20.00.

i drink the ultra and it packs a better punch. also tastes like mountain dew
Cola one is best. but obviously u are more immune to that stuff than me. i was hyped up for like 5 hours and my friends always say it makes them go crazy
I'm A Party Bus Driver and I was Giving a JOLT while stopped at a traffic light.
This is my second time trying one of these energy drinks. The first was BULL and it's after taste was exactly that.That but me off these drinks.
So I took the 4 that i was offeredfor free,tried it on my next long trip out of state. It took 1/2 hr to kick in but it did it's job!! It tasted nice its somethinng that i could drink to give me that pick me up and I didn't have a enery CRASH after it started to wear off.

I think that you should review the Ultra, because it gives you a lot more of a kick.
They make a suger free Jolt. (Green) can.

I just had the Cherry Bomb flavor yesterday and I was somewhat amazed by the huge 23 oz can. I drunk the entire contents and it tasted nothing like cherry at all; more like soda pop that's been left open for a day.
Certainly not the greatest energy drink ever.

One question, was this review completed with the new reformulated energy line that Jolt is producing now or the original jolt line? The reason I ask is that they've upped the caffeine to 220mg and added guarana, ginseng, taurine, and vitamin B complex to the energy line. So all flavors have the kick of the Ultra flavor now. I was used to drinking jolt and when I received my most recent order from Think Geek, I drank one and got more a rush than usual and noticed they had upped the anti so to speak.
X505 is my new favorite though, that stuff kicks ass!
i think jolt gives a huge boost well it does for me and it`s is my favorite energy drink i like ultra best right now i have jolt cherry bomb not impressed by taste but energy wow i`m gonna stick to ultra jolt though it makes me literally bounce of the walls i can`t resist it

some promoters gave me two cans today. i'm drinking the cola one right now. there's kind of a weird after taste, just little, but overall it's okay. and it's keeping me awake. but it's also making me kinda jittery so i can't really concentrate on studying...and i've been drinking the same can for 5 hours...it's so big. haha. i didn't even notice that it looked like a battery! i was wondering what the plus sign was...haha
Not a very accurate review... the caffeine is not what brings the energy... it is the TAURINE... My friend and I split this because we are just kids and shouldn't be drinking all that, but the TAURINE (which is banned in some countries) is insane. I had about a 1/4 of a can, and I was screaming in class and hitting people. ha ha. The energy burst is insane... are you like some 400 pound person laying strapped to a bed? I think not! This stuff is crazy!
im drinkin the green one (ultra) its sugar free and yea it does taste like mountain dew.
ok i went to buy a jolt yesterday it took me 30 minets to diside which one to get because i was torn between silver and cherry bomb hate to break it to yeah but silver isnt a flavor i bought it and it tasted like mountain dew. and i am pritty sure the best you could do is lemon lime not silver if i wanted to drink silver i would drink a quarter please take my comment into consideration i am sure it is stopping many other people from buying that flavor i am just the only one who isnt afraid to speak up and say something!!!!!
i picked up a couple of these for $1.50 each at rite aid, so an oz. of it's like 1/4 the price of a can of red bull :0
i drank this stuff before a cross country race and i ran the race and i didnt feel tired the whole race and i was still bouncing off the wall for the rest of the night. i barely drank half of the can. this stiff is potent!!!
These are great for just sippin on, cause they arn't as pricy for there size and easy to drink.. Not a very good buzz from these, and some flavors just taste like cough syrup, But When your don't have much money on you and you have alot of friends over begging for a drink, buy a few of these. It should keep you pretty quenched for a few hours...

yo ur retarded i had a jolt after a shoulder work out and about 30 mins later me and 2 of my friends were at this complex gym and i started doing chest workout after killing shoulders not to long before. there is energy n it does last i did 3 set of dumbell bench with the 95's for 8-10 reps no spot who ever review the drink says theres no energy is dumb he deserves to die buy jolt its a good drink w good energy
I just tried the Orange Jolt, avoid this at all cost. I can feel the kick coming on, but the taste is kinda nasty.
You should try the new passion fruit jolt (yellow can). It's not on their website, but I'd put it right up there with blue and orange.
