Coca Cola’s Full Throttle Energy Drink comes in an attractive black can and can be found almost anywhere because of the distribution channels that Coca-Cola has. This giant 16 ounce drink can be had for around $2.00 just like all the others. So does the Full Throttle drink have anything on the rest of the pack, or is it just a mediocre drink? Read on to find out.
Full Throttle Energy Drink Revivew: Taste
Another citrus lime flavored drink that comes in a 16 ounce can. This has less of a bite than most citrus flavored lime drinks but overall Full Throttle does not taste that great. If I were you I would try the Vault Energy drink
that recently came out. Overall I am going to give the Full Throttle Energy drink review for taste a mediocre 6 because it does not add anything original to the table.
Full Throttle Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well I was not very impressed with the taste and frankly I am not that impressed with Full Throttle's kick. It actually has about 8.81 miligrams of caffeine per ounce which is about the same as the Monster Energy Drink but I did not get a kick that lasted very long. I am not sure if they are missing other ingredients that help give you that kick you are looking for or not, but I was not that impressed so I will give the Full Throttle Drink review for kick a mediocre 6.5.
Full Throttle Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
It is not the greatest tasting, it does not give a big kick like Monster Energy Drink (even though they have comparable amounts of caffeine) and it does not score any points on price. So I am going to give this drink a remarkable 10! Just kidding it only deserves a 6 out of 10. If I were you I would go try Coca-Cola’s other energy beverage, Vault Energy Drink. It tastes better, costs less and gives a comparable kick.

I actually LOVE this drink, and could give a rats ass if it had ANY 'boost' properties. I cant explain it...I just love the taste. Due to calories, I try tolimit myself nowadays...but if I could, Id drink 3 or 4 cans of this stuff a day. many say it takes like liquid gummy worms. Best tasting 'energy drink' I have found yet, tied with mountain dew 'AMP' and 'AMP Overdrive'.
I tried the other variety, "Blue Demon" and the taste was definately different than the usual citris flavor. I agree on its lack of kick though. Kind of a big sugar crash after a 2 and a half hour caffine fix.

i totally agree with you on this one. your reviews are always spot on, im gonna try to find you some rare energy drinks to review. it should be tough, you've done alot of drinks
I'd have to agree with you on the kick part, but I cannot believe the review you gave it for taste.
It's a far better tasting energy drink than monster, redbull, rockstar, and, in fact, most other energy drinks I've tried.
I don't know if it's because I am overly sensitive to the medicine aftertaste of those other energy drinks simply making me biased against the rest of their flavor, but Fullthrottle has NO aftertaste, [the normal one at least, Blue Demon leaves an odd flavor in your mouth, and the orange slush thingy at sonic is barely drinkable it's so strong]
and is right on par with such drinks as BAWLS, AMP, Crunk, 180, and Sobe adrenaline rush
Full Throttle is a good drink but nothin more than that, it has little kick none of that good aftertaste, i actually loved Blue Demon and recommend it if you want a break from the ordinary
I was hesitant at trying this at first, I saw it everywhere and I thought it would be just another nasty drink like No Fear. The No Fear I am referring to is the nasty one that tastes like grape and vomit. But anyways, my mom picked this up for me since I am an energy drink fiend and I was quite impressed. It tasted to me like a lime green gummy worm. As funny as that may sound, the drink is pretty decent. The kick isnt too great but good flavor nevertheless. Worth trying, in my opinion.
It depends on the person that's drinking this drink. I couldn't stop twitching after drinking this stuff. The energy was there for me about 4 hours. It tastes great, and I didn't have a sugar crash afterwards.
I tried the "Nature ... Mother" whatever variety.
It tastes like grass mixed with horse "excrement"
Personally I love the original flavor, but I only drink it for breakfast and in the mornings you really aren't too choosy about what you drink
I LOVE Full Throttle my friend got me hooked gotta say. But accually the only good ones are the original black and w/e the red is called. The new green and silver.. no those arent good (i say colors not names they're easier btw) not much energy just love it for the taste
I dont see why anyone would want to drink this, it has a crapy kick and tastes like somone took a piss in a coke...
IDK WTF you guys are talking about 'no kick', I feel like I'm vibrating!of course, that could be due to the wired i'm drinking right now...but yeah, I had a pretty good kick after the FTBD I drank.
Sugar Free Full Throttle is one of my favorite energy drinks and IMO better than the original, but you can't find it anywhere around here (DC Area). Even in the Full Throttle vending machines that claim to have Sugar Free, when you hit the button you get original. I've only found it two times, both at EXXON gas stations.

I agree with many of the comments.. it doesn't have a good kick but I buy it for the taste! It is one of the best drinks I have had. I would buy @ $2/can even if it wasnt an energy drink. Coke has a winner with this one.

I agree with the above comments in regards to the kick. Its nothing special but it does keep me awake and alert which is all I want. I dont wanna be jittery and whatnot. Anyways, the best aspect of this drink is how it tastes, it is THE best tasting energy drink you can find. Everything else tastes like cotton candy or something wayyyy to sweet. This stuff is different, its crisp and fruity. I have one every morning as I do no drink coffee, this is my substitute. I would still buy this stuff for 3$ a can if it didnt have the energy stuff in it, strictly for how it tastes. My favorite drink!
I enjoy full throttle over other energy drinks because it is not to bitter. There is no after taste in my mouth, like there is with other energy drinks.
