Best Energy Drinks and Shots
I have reviewed a lot of energy drinks (300 +) on my blog and a lot of people ask me what the best energy drink is. Turns out, answering the question; "What is the Best Energy Drink" is not easy to do. Sure, I do have my personal favorites, but by no means would I classify any of them as the best because that can be somewhat of a personal opinion, especially when taste is involved. You personally have to determine what your favorite drink is. To help you out, here are some questions to ask yourself about what you are looking for in an energy drink. Are you looking for the strongest, best tasting or cheapest energy drink? What size are you looking for... 2 ounce shot or 32 ounce Monster? Or are you looking for a drink that will fill some other void? Below are some questions and categories that people usually associate with the best energy drink. Well I have given each one of those categories some thought and I hope it helps you to pick the best energy drink for yourself!
Best Tasting Energy Drink

After working 8-10 hours going to the gym can be a drag, especially if you don't have any energy. Here are a couple drinks that I like to use before or during a workout. These are usually less filling, lower carbonation, smaller sized drinks so that I don't feel like I am going to heave during the workout.

3) Redline (careful with this one when working out)

There are a lot of beverages out there that are going after the tea market as well. I have reviewed quite a few of these beverages that are tea flavored yet offer the kick of an energy drink. These are the ones that I have enjoyed the most so far.

For pips like me who r newcommers to the energy drink world(but have certainly njoyed the virtues of caffeine-pills,coffee,etc for ages) this is xtemely usefull. Hope you'll do this every so often.

It doesn't taste half bad.
Neither does the Duff (like the beer from the Simpsons) energy drink.
Try brawndo. It s delicious and man they keep goin all day. I dont even want to eat after, but I must say .... Don't drink one on an empty stomach, they are strong.
You should try XS energy drink. Great taste with many different flavors(I think that there are about 13 now). Low carbs, sugar, and calories. Reasonably priced compared to other mainstream energy drinks.

I completely disagree with a lot of this..
GURU is by far the best energy drink out there on many of the categories you listed. Since it is organic, gives you a nice kick, 0 jitters, non carbonated in some flavors, and filled with immune boosting supplements as well.
Since trying GURU, I have lost interest in all the other drinks out there that are filled with harmful chemicals and what not
i bought some new drink from 7-11 tonight.
its called "hardcore energize bullet"
and the label reads
"Extremely Potent”, “Read label before drinking”, and “Must be 18 or over”.
300mg of caffeine, and i read a couple of reviews that said the kick was TOO intense.

Don't drink an entire Wired X-505 in one sitting. It will make you sick for a couple of hours and then make you extremely wired for like 6 hours. I couldn't sleep all night cause I was too hyper.

What I'd like to know is which drink produces the lightest 'crash'.
I'm an American living in Yemen and enjoy the wealth of energy drinks on the market here. Many of them are poorly marketed but the best has to be one called "Firer Horse". It's genuinely called Firer Horse. How they managed to get their product out the door with an obvious spelling error is beyond me but I think it's hilarious.

So, on your Spike Shooter review it said you still hadn't tried it, did I read it wrong? If not, I think you should. Definitely the most potent energy drink I have ever had, I am going to try Wired x-505 that you rated #1 for most potent. I was a huge fan of the 344 line, but FIVE HUNDRED FIVE MG of caffeine is just outrageously intense. Anyway, my main reason for the comment is for you to try Spike Shooter, or Spike Shotgun(more potency).
Man I just got the Dr Max Powers Anabolic Stack in the mail and I couldnt believe the pump I got. I have been using supplements for years now off and on and I can tell you that this stuff is by far the best I have ever used. Not only does it work great for your workouts but I also i love th eway my skin looks. very recommended
Just be sure to be cautious of the amount of caffeine intake in one day. Too much can\t be good! BUT taken properly energy drinks can give you that extra boost you need when sluggish!
I've never really needed anything to stay awake all night but I just started university this term and now its a completely different story. Started of with lots of coffee, then moved on to Red Bull (which was weak stuff) and then to Monster (slightly less weak). Neither did much for me at all. No energy kicks, no adrenaline rush. Then my roommate gave me a bottle of Redline and wow, that stuff is potent. It tastes terrible but I stayed up all night and well into the night after that (2 servings taken with a 10 hour gap in between). So I've found my source of energy: Redline.
the strongest energy drink that you forgot to list is NOS Energy Drink with 343mg of caffeine, probably the best legal study buddy out there

please mention tender coconut juice as this is recommended for people who are sick too. Sugar cane juice is also a natural healthy drink and it gives instant energy.
my favorite is HER energy, it tastes waaay better than anything else, it tastes like pink lemonade, not like MEDICINE

All i have to say is XS energy drink. Nothing like it. Healthy and give you energy. Not through sugar and taurine but through vitamins. Best part only 8 calories and comes in 12 different flavors. Not to mention, they have caffiene free ones as well. Enough Said !!!!!!
