Well this would be the second Phat Phruit energy drink I reviewed as I recently tried the Phat Phruit Raspberry Limeade flavor which I thoroughly enjoyed. That said I had high expectations for the Phat Phruit Grape Strawberry Flavor. As with all of the flavors, Grape Strawberry contains 11 essential vitamins plus a nice amount of calcium. Two Phat Phruits are equal to one glass of milk. Well enough background, onto the review!

Phat Phruit Grape Strawberry Energy Drink Review: Taste
With only 40 calories and 10 carbs per serving, this low sugar energy drink tasted good. The strawberry flavor slightly overpowered the grape flavor but all in all it blended well together for a great taste that had no medicinal aftertaste at all. I did like the Rasberry Lime Phat Phruit slightly better but the Grape Strawberry flavor deserves a healthy taste rating of 8.5!

Having already reviewed one Phat Phruit I knew what to expect in the kick category. While these drinks are not especially strong they definitely contain an ample amount of caffeine to keep you going! Phat Phruit also combines the caffeine with a combination of B-Vitamins. AS with the other flavors, the kick was noticeable and there was no crash afterwards, but it was not outstanding. In my humble opinion this would be a great energy beverage to enjoy with breakfast. Maybe substitute your daily coffee for this so you can pick up some extra vitamins! Kick Rating is a pleasing 7.5.

Grape Strawberry makes for a good flavor combination. The kick is enjoyable and would make for a good breakfast drink. Combine that with the tiny price tag of $1.25 for 16 ounces and we have ourselves a real winner of an energy beverage. For the price being so low I will give it a slightly better final judgment of 8.0!
