No Fear SoBe Energy Drink Review:
It had been raining for the last week, there has been no sun and there is crap to do here. The bleak weather has drained me of any energy that I might have after the devastatingly long weekend so I thought I would go out and buy a SoBe Energy Drink as a friend recommended it to me. Well there were two kinds at the store, No Fear and Adrenaline. Remembering the old shirts and slogan from back in the day I thought I would go with the SoBe Energy Drink called No Fear.
No Fear SoBe Energy Drink Review: Taste
This 16 ounce is quite original and tastes vaguely the same as some of the other bottled drinks that SoBe makes. SoBe is carbonated and very sweet and fruity. There is a mild after taste, probably from the energy ingredients but other than that it is quite splendid. I have to say that the taste on this is quite good and
would probably make a good combination with any meal. The No Fear SoBe Energy Drink review for taste gets a stellar 9.0. I will probably have to try their other flavors as well as this was very good.
No Fear SoBe Energy Drink Review: Kick
Quite a substantial kick can be had from SoBe. This kick also is rather surprising as there where no jitter effects after I was finished. The kick lasted for about 4-5 hours which was rather nice. Along with a nice kick I noticed that it also had creatine in it. Creatine along with the jitter free energy effect would be great for athletes. Overall I will give the No Fear SoBe drink review for kick a pleasing 8.5.
No Fear SoBe Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
You get 16 ounces of reliable jitter free energy in a great tasting fruity flavor. You get the added creatine which would be great for athletes or for working out. The only downfall is that it costs slightly more than other comparable drinks. At $2.19 the price is probably worth the extra flavor. My final judgment for this drink will be a 8.8.

just wanted to point out the gold version doesnt have creatine.
im big into energy drinks...iv tried em all. one day i stopped at a convenient store and all they had was sobe gold...and said why not....tried it and i gotta say..this stuff tastes terrible, atelast in my opinion. i drink red bull and monster regularly...buy them at sams club in bulk. maybe im just used to teh flavor..but sobe has this werd after taste..like mongolian beef or soemthing. just my opinion. wasted 3 dollars on this, and forecully mixed it with jagger and drank it down, didnt wanan waste 3 bucks. peace!
the gold tastes nasty as shit but the red n black one was good but kant fint it in a 4 pack anymore... :( recommend the red and blk one if can find definenly... also had creatine which was a plus but didnt reallly do too much for me... :(
Ok got a can of Sobe NO FEAR (suger free) Here. At first you get a nice sweet taste of grape/grapefruit and then the aftertse of the fake suger stuff hits. YUCK! come on use splenda for heavens sakes. Ish arpistmeene.
This is a more mild energy drink, and seems to be slow going. But i'm wide awake. And thats what I want hea.
But Red Bull tops all in taste. yum. I give this one a 7. Don't buy the diet (called suger free one carb) SoBe *gags*
I have to disagree with just about all of you. I have tried quite a few of the energy drinks and I feel the gold is the best as far as taste, smoothness going down, and doesn't leave you with a bad energyless feeling after boost wears off.
Bryon
All the Sobe drinks are great but this one is the best tasting off anything else I've tried. Its delicious.
none of them have creatine try rereading the label...how about carnitine
i have tried both gold and red, gold by far tastes the best outa all of the energy drinks i've tried and it gives a nice long kick. I prefer red either when i'm working out, snowboarding, wakeboarding, motocross ect. mainly because of creatine and doesn't taste as smooth as gold.
Hey people
I just wanted to point out that nofear has 10% L=Arginine in it. For those not aware , the hepes viruses are almost entirely composed of L-Arginine and need it to reproduce in the human body, however L-Lysine is almost aidentical to L-Arginine in chemical composition and is taken in by herpes viruses but prevent reproduction in the body.
Drinking 10% L-Arginine is setting up the system for more than possibel herpes infections.
Just thought you should know
To the guys who said there is no creatine in no fear, technically you are right, but you are also wrong. If you check your drug facts l-arginine (20mg present in a full can of no fear, 10 per serving) causes your body to produce creatine. so therefore since drinking no fear causes you to produce creatine, it has creatine by proxy.
I have to say the red and black are by far my favorite. the gold has a nasty taste and could barely drink it. but the red and black one, I drink all the time and lasts a long time with no jittery affects. keeps me wide awake and very alert for 4-5 hours, with no droggy after affects.
I have tried them all, No Fear has the most "jitter free" feeling. The drinkabilty is a plus for early mornings. As an athelete, I trained for five, 5 minute rounds and I didn't have that dizzy crashing feeling. Monster and AMP enegy made me crash and has way too much sugar and caffiene. Those drinks made my chest hurt. I saw the WEC commercial with Uriah Faber and thought it was all marketing, the stuff actually tastes good too.
I havent had the gold sobe but i just finished a red and black no fear nd they r one of my favorite drinks. They r pretty hard to find but u can get the 4 pack at price chopper.
to be honest...no fear has a lot of qualities that are good. Also, my favorite fighter Urijiah Faber is sponsored by them. However, if you do the resesrch with Nofear, Amp, Rockstar, Monster, and others..you will quickly realize a high content of sugar, carbs, and other unneccesary ingredients. I enjoy drinking XS ENERGY DRINKS! 0 sugar, 0 carbs.. only 8 calories..and no artificial stuff, no perservatives..13+ flavors! All healthy, and beneficial..no sugar rush or crash.. Look it up, no contest.
I tried energy drinks for the first time last fall. Monster was disgusting, as was Red Bull, Rockstar, and Amp. When I tried the red and black No Fear, I loved it. I got hooked on it, and found myself stocking up on it when it was $5.99 for a 4 pack at Safeway. Now Safeway doesn't carry it at all, and Rays Food Place carries only the single cans. While consuming all these dozens of cans, I managed to gain 25 pounds. Over Memorial Day weekend, I thought I was having a heart attack, and blamed it on the Chantix I was taking to quit smoking. After reading comments on the internet, I think the No Fear might be the culprit. I ended up at the hospital, and a cardiologist was called in. My EKG was abnormal, so I now have a referral to a heart specialist coming up, since the hospitalist that saw me for the heart pains doesn't see patients outside the hospital. I LOVE NO FEAR!! BUT, I am afraid I am going to have to give it up. I am going to give up on energy drinks and go back to Snapple Peach Iced Tea. One of these days, there is going to be a well publicized death from someone drinking an energy drink, and they'll be regulated. Maybe they should be. I had never had heart problems in my life until last week. It is SCARY!!!
I've tried many sports drinks, but always come back to No Fear--red/black can. It'll carry me through 3 sets of tennis. But can't find it anywhere in Santa Fe, NM. Gotta look 45 miles away in a store off the beaten path. What's up with that?
Why can you not find the red and black Sobe no fear anymore?
I also fell in love with all the flavors of No fear but have looked all over the place here in Nebraska with no luck. Does anyone know why we can not find it anymore?
