Energy Drink Ratings Explained
Celsius Drink Review
I heard about this Celsius drink through the grape vine but I am not really sure whether or not to classify it as an energy drink. The Celsius energy drink supposedly is a thermogenics fat burner, or a drink that boosts your metabolism. Well if it boosts your metabolism it must get your heart pumping faster and if it does that it must be an energy drink. This is probably on par with the Redline Energy
Drink that I reviewed.
Celsius Drink Review: Taste
The Celsius drink comes in three flavors, cola, ginger ale and lemon lime. I tried the Cola Celsius energy drink. And you know what it tasted like any other diet cola out there. There was no medicinal aftertaste at all. The 12 ounce bottle and package where quite unique and it actually seems to complement the decent flavor
of the Celsius energy drink. Although most people do not think of a cola when they think of energy drinks I believe this could fill a new gap for the people that like diet cola but want more energy. For those who don’t particularly like the diet cola taste the lemon lime sounds like more of an energy drink. I will give the Celsius cola drink an average 8.
Celsius Drink Review: Kick
I had no idea what to expect when I first tried the Celsius energy drink. Turns out after I tried it I really did not feel any different. There was not a noticeable kick at all. This was odd especially for a fat burner, but then again I really don’t know to much about the thermogenics industry. It's now 20 minutes later and I am definintely feeling the kick! Maybe the fat burner takes longer to kick in, but when it did damn!! Iguess I really don't know how to rate the kick. It takes awhile to kick in, but when it does you can definitely fee it. I guess I will have to give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a nice 9.3 kick rating!
Celsius Drink Review: Final Judgment
As of right now this drink is relatively hard to get. I found it online but I suspect it will eventually be in vitamin stores since it is a fat burner. The cola drink tasted alright and I received a delayed but noticeable kick. The fact is I believe this is more of a fat burner than an energy beverage. It would be perfect for those people who are addicted to drinking diet soda and who want to lose some extra weight. It is actually clinically proven to increase your metabolism by 12%. Final judgment is an healthy 8.7.

I heard about this soda from some marketing magazine geared toward getting people to invest in the company. I was about to throw the magazine in the garbage and something said take a look at the company. All the web research gave Celsius "props". So I decided to buy 200 shares, what could it hurt the stock is cheap. I finally got around to ordering some through the vitamin shoppe. Tried the lemon lime today. I drank it hot. The taste wasn't bad; of course it would taste better chilled. The interesting thing is that the soda does have a nice little kick to it. It will definitely give you a "pick me up". Coffee makes me a little jittery, but Celsius doesn't. One news channel did a study and people actually lost 5 pounds drinking this soda in a week (might have been two don't quote me). Over all I am a fan and not because I bought stock in the company. I generally like this product. For those who drink diet soda my thought is why grab a diet soda if you want something with low calories when you can grab a Celsius and burn calories just by drinking it. It’s a no brainer. Will definitely have to order some more to sample all the flavors.
I use to look very much forward to taking my dog for a walk, six blocks to my nearest convenience store, to pick up a Celsius Energy Drink (Cola is my favorite, the lemon-lime is not bad, esp. mixed with rum. Yum !) as an afternoon pick-me-up. I LOVE this stuff. I found out just yesturday that the store no longer carries this awesome product. Their loss, for I will no longer be shopping there. Thank goodness there are alternative methods for continuing to enjoy my favorite addiction. By the time my dog & I would make it back home I would feel ready to take on the world - with NO jitters or guilt, because the stuff is so darned good for you. Just read the lable and you will see all the great ingredients it instils. I WANT all that working for me and I will continue to use this product, no matter what I have to do in order to find it now. Thank you Celsius.
celsius is the drink i prefer to have before playing basketball. It has a nice taste and when it kicks in, IT KICKS IN. this is a great product, I would definitely recommend it.
The kick is wonderful and if it actually increases my metabolism that is even better. I purchased a 4-Pack at Kroger for $4.99 + dep. (I live in MI). They have a new Berry flavor tasted like detergent I search around for the Lemon/Lime because I like the kick and focus. I drank it before a training class and I want to say I retained about 90%, average retention is typically about 50% or less. So I'm impressed.
Celsius can be found at Walgreen's and it also comes in berry and citrus flavors
I played tennis against a girl that loves Celsius so I decided to try it since it has only 6mg of sodium. I got the Sparkling Orange, not bad. The organge flavor is like tang with a mix of giner ale, I like it. I have not tried the wild berry but it was on close out at Krogers. Go to the web site for a $3 coupon the to Krogers and pay less a buck to try it. The orange was not on sale but I used my coupon. I can't wait to try the cola flavor, just have not found it yet.
Be warned about the possible effects of Splenda ( Sucralose) as the great and safe sweetener in Celsius. Splenda, which has some chemical properties of chlorine has successfully eroded the lining of my bladder, or in lay terms, has burned it away. I am not alone with this problem. I will now experience incapacitating symptoms of a bladder infection, severe urgency, pain and bladder spasm which is just a flare up of the condition, not an infection. Please be careful. You do not want to live with these flare ups if you accidently eat the wrong foods. Splenda is like arsenic. Celsius has Splenda and if it does appear to have miracle weight loss powers, the Splenda in it could rot the lining of your bladder!!!!!!!!!reanconr
I've been drinking Celsius for that extra kick for a while now, I would buy some and bring it to drills when their was a PT test, mind you this could be mental but the soldiers who drank it had remarkable PT improvement. I drink Celsius Sparkling Cola now, seems to sit a bit better for me before working out than regular Cola (I'm not a big fan of the other flavors).
Great Company, sent an email to them Sunday night (last night) about a competitor trying to piggy back advertising off of them (Verve) and Celsius' CEO sent me a response back this morning. Love the company, will continue to buy from them.
Only try the sparkling Celsius, because I tried the green tea one and it made me want to puke! But the orange sparkling one tastes kind of like Red Bull.
Splenda in Celcius is the deal breaker. FYI -Splenda and most of the sugar "substitutes" are actulaly really SUGAR, in fact they have mega sugar molecules. SO it's not sugar free if it has splenda. Anything that has it in it is not made by people who want you to be healthy, otherwise they wouldn't put that in it. Most of us want to loose weight and get that sugar. Americans are SUGAR ADDICTS--everything has sugar in it. Life is so sweet now that I let go of that sugar.
is this site just an advertisement with fake comments to sell the product?
It was almost scary how big a kick I got from this! I could run up the stairs, without losing my breath (I have asthma, and usually only get half way, before I start breathing heavily).
Althought I'm not sure if it is SAFE to drink, because of the ingredienses (which aren't marked on the box), but it does give you a hell of a kick - if you're not used to caffine.
I've been drinkinf celsius for about four years now! And i think its great. Everyone that i introduced it to actually loved it, it really gives you a kick without crashing you down like red bulls or any other energy drink i've had in the pass. The only thing i don't like is that you buy from these stores in then out of the blue they don't sell it anymore. But if anyone is interested they have it at Acme,Shoprite and also Big Bear Natural Foods.
