Game Juice Energy Drink Review
It's a new month so it's time to get going on some new reviews of Energy Drinks. Today the review falls on the 16.9 Game Juice Energy Drink. Why is it called Game Juice? Well since it was designed by gamers for gamers, the name just makes sense and the product just looks like it is going after the serious gamers, you know the ones that sit and play PS3 or Xbox 360 for hours and hours at a time. One thing Game Juice has going for them already is that the bottle is resealable and is shaped somewhat like a gaming controller which is kind of neat. This drink was also made to help the gamer get an edge on the competition by helping you become more alert, focused, and energized when you're playing your favorite game. So let's see how Game Juice Impact performs in the review.
Game Juice Energy Drink Review: Taste
After the first sip I could tell right away that there were some similarities to the Amp and Mountain Dew MDX energy drinks. The only difference seems to be that Game Juice Impact does not have the same medicinal bite as the aforementioned. Maybe because it is made with real sugar? Not sure, but if you like a citrus flavored drink that is along the lines of AMP or Mountain Dew than I recommend you give this one a try as the flavor is significantly better than either as it has less carbonation and more of a refreshing taste which hides the medicinal ingredients. Taste Rating - 8.5
Game Juice Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well it tastes good but does it provide that ample kick to get you to the next level? Well I am not a serious gamer, but I do work on a computer quite a bit. While not exactly the same this is how I will put the Game Juice to the test as staring at a computer for eight plus hours is similar to gaming for an extended period of time. So the energy ingredients include Taurine, Caffeine and B-Vitamins. The effects were not too bad. I drank the whole bottle and felt a pretty good kick that lasted several hours and did not have a crash. It's definitely worth a try. Kick Rating - 8.6
Game Juice Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Overall this drink is not too bad. The taste is recognizable and comparable to past energy drinks; however, it is a little more refreshing and contains a significantly less medicinal aftertaste. The kick although not the strongest, was more than enough to keep me focused and going for quite some time. I can see this being a niche energy drink that could do very well once gamers find out about it. I would recommend giving it a try if you are going to pull an all night guitar hero session. Final Judgment - 8.6
