Ronin Energy Drink Review
Well the Ronin Energy Drink came to my attention as I was traveling through Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Turns out this is actually where it is made and the reason I grabbed it off the shelf was that the can was relatively unique and the catch phrase "positive liquid synergy" caught my eye. After further reading of the 16 ounce can it turns out that this drink contains the equivalent of one serving of fruits and vegetables per can. Combined with this are anti-aging properties and anti-oxidants. After reading this I was thoroughly pumped to give the original Ronin Energy drink a try.

Ronin Energy Drink Review: Taste
At first glance of the ingredients I noticed that Green Tea extract was used, so I was not sure if this was going to be another green tea tasting energy drink. To my surprise it was not. It actually was a very pleasant citrus blend. There was no medicinal aftertaste and they do a great job of masking all the vitamins and minerals. Although there were 190 calories per can I was more than happy to make this trade off to get a serving of fruits and vegetables! If you are not willing to make this trade off then it looks like they have a diet version available that is only 15 calories and still contains one serving of fruits and veggies per can! Final review of the Ronin Energy Drink for taste is a very pleasant 8.7!
Ronin Energy Drink Review: Kick
Ronin's taste was quite pleasing and it contains a plethora of energy ingredients so I was pretty sure that I was going to be receiving a quite healthy "kick" of energy! Well, what do you know? I was right (as I usually am). The kick was actually more than I was suspecting and it seemed to deliver a sustained amount of energy for about 3-4 hours. When I get my hands on a diet Ronin I think I will give it a try before I hit the gym. Very good kick - so I will give it a kick rating of 9.0!
Ronin Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Well the taste was great, the kick was damn good and you get a full serving of fruits and vegetables per can. Now I paid $1.99 for a single can, but upon further review of the Ronin web site you can buy a 12 pack for only $19.99; which puts the cost per can at about $1.65! Also if you look at their site it looks like they supply a list of drink mixers that you can try out which is pretty neat. To sum up: Good Taste + Good Kick + Good Price = Great Final Judgment of 9.0!

Does anyone know why it is such a pain to order from these guys? I love the drink but it takes over a month to get anything shipped. I ordered a case on Jan 15th 08 and it's Feb 27th 08 and I'm still waiting! Does anyone know of a drink that has a similar taste to this one?
They also don't put the mg of caffine on the can, instead just have 1250mg of "proprietary energy blend". What's the caffine amount and what's the taurine amount? They should have the mg for each item of their "blend" listed.
