Energy Drink Ratings Explained
Energy Drink Review:
Well it has been quite some time since I last reviewed a Hi-Ball Energy Drink so it is time to try another flavor. The Hi-Ball lineup is designed as a energy mixer that is supposed to give a little extra kick to your normal cocktail. It comes in 6 flavors, Original, Club Soda, Grapefruit, Lemon Lime, Wild Berry and Orange. Today I will be reviewing the Wild Berry flavor. Now I have to admit, these types of Energy Drinks are not ones that I would usually buy as the product and flavors are designed for a different crowd. Sure I like mix drinks, but the drinks I usually have are not tonic based. But, to each his own.
Energy Drink Review: Taste
As I stated above, I am not fond of sparkling water, but I have to say that with only 10 calories and a distinct wild berry flavor, this would make a great cocktail mixer, especially if you like sparkling water. Not liking sparkling waters might bias my review so I had someone else try it and let me know there thoughts. Turns out it tastes like sparkling water with a hint of berry flavoring, just like any other berry flavored sparkling water they had tried. Sorry, that's all I can say about the taste. Taste Rating - 8.0
Energy Drink Review: Kick
So my taste rating is not the most helpful, but maybe I can help with the kick rating. The energy ingredients include; 1250 milligrams of taurine, 32 milligrams of Guarana, 75 milligrams of Caffeine (natural), 32 milligrams of Ginseng and B-Vitamins. So the energy ingredients are in abundance and are more than enough to give a nice kick to your ordinary cocktail. These ingredients will give more of a kick to your cocktail then a Red Bull, so don't have too many or you will be jumping off the walls! 8.0
Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
If you like sparkling water or use it as a mixer than trying out the Hi-Ball lineup to add a little more kick is well worth it. You can pick them up at Albertsons, Safeway & Whole Foods. Final Judgment - 8.0
