Well here is another first for me as I am going to review the ACT energy drink today. What is this first you might be asking? Well this constitutes the first time that I have reviewed an energy drink powder. That's right, the concept behind Act, from M2C Global, is that you buy individual packets and then mix them with 8-10 ounces of water or your favorite juice. Well enough, background lets get on with the review of ACT energy drink from M2C Global.
A.C.T Energy Drink Review: Taste
I was fortunate enough to get my hands on several samples of this product so I got to try mixing this powder with water and with juice. My first taste of the ACT drink came by mixing it with 10 ounces of water (as instructed on the packet) and the berry flavor was a little overwhelming. However, this issue was easily solved by adding about 5 ounces of water. So by mixing the ACT powder with 15 ounces of water the drink actually had a pleasant taste which I will give a taste rating of 7.5 which is pretty good. Mixing this powdered energy drink with sugar free fruit punch Kool Aid definitely upped the taste anti. By mixing in ACT and Sugar Free Kool Aid into a 10 ounce shaker I got a very good tasting result causing me to give ACT mixed with sweet juice a taste rating of 8.2. Average taste rating of 7.9!
A.C.T Energy Drink Review: Kick
Now for the most important aspect of the review, the kick! Well I was rather surprised the amount of energy that this little packet gave off. Although I did not feel an immediate kick like I would with caffeine based beverages, after 15 minutes I definitely felt more energized. The main energy ingredients in ACT seems to be Guarana (natural caffeine), Green Tea, Ginseng and Creatine. The combination of these ingredients would act as a great workout drink or a healthy alternative to your high caffeine high sugar drinks. ACT will get a nice kick rating of 8.0.
A.C.T Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Well it tastes good mixed with sugar free Kool Aid and it provides a good kick so I will give the a final judgment of 8.1 which is quite good considering the costs! Although I got these samples for free, I believe the costs can vary slightly depending on whether you join the company or purchase at retail. I think the direct cost equates to about $1.00 per packet or you can purchase from a retailer at about a 30% mark up.

I love your unbiased review of A.C.T. Energy Drink, my experience with the drink has been very similar.
I had the same experience with the strong taste when mixed in 8 oz of water. After trying in a full 500ml bottle of water, I liked it better. My energy and focus were at the top during my training sessions, 30 minutes after taking a.c.t.

I know people say they dont give you a crash, but i got one. It did give me a little bit of energy, but not enough, and about 2 hours later i felt exausted. And the taste wasnt great either. It had a really bad aftertaste, and after about half of the can it got hard to drink.
I like the taste and really like the lift it gives me. I no longer drink coffee. I use A.C.T. every day and just mix with water. I also like the new "Tropical Blast" flavor.

I really like this, but after the first week, I started to get a "flush" that lasted for about twenty minutes. The flavor is fine, mixed with just water or with juice. The flush made me stop taking it.
Great Review- I'd like to add DrinkACT also has a Tropical flavor and Pink Lemonade flavor drink for energy and weight management as well.
I love the ACT pouches but the ACT supershots are quite expensive. To order 25 ($30) the shipping cost for Canada is $21.00. Who's making the profit here, definitely not the distributors
I have tried lots of energy drinks and only two have made me REALLY hyper. And they were both ones I totally didn't expect. ACT and Totally Light 2go. Both powder mixes. They must affect me differently because I would give them both a 10 kick and the closest anything else would get is an 8. Both drinks give about the same energy level, only the totally light is cheaper and tastes much better (orange flavor).
I absolutely love this product. I signed on right after I tried it. Many of my friends and family have also signed on. Me and my wife have both lost 15 lbs in 2 months. My workouts have improved greatly since starting A.C.T. Highly recommend it!

I absolutely LOVE Act energy Drink and wouldn't go a day without it. I have Fibromyalgia and this drink allows me to keep on going even when I have flare ups! It is a Powerful Drink!
I used to drink those sugar-free drinks, after hearing about this stuff and trying it-I signed right up! This stuff is amazing, it gives me energy for hours. With no crash!

As well as being an excellent drink to promote energy, this is one of the best drinks around for recovery. A must after a hard day at work.
This has creatine in it...this isn't stopping anyone from drinking it?
I tried this when they were giving away free samples for signing up for a free website. I love it. Used to be a Monster drinker. Haven't been without it since 2005. The cans are also great..and better...just cost a little more though since they ship in a "liquid" state.

"USE" to taste great to me. NOW they changed the formula!! WHY??!! No choices ACT??? I will never understand why companies get a great thing going then completely destroy it by changing the formula and not offering the "ORIGINAL" anymore?? Didn't you learn anything from COKE years ago???!!! Remember???!!!!
Caffeine is caffeine- all forms effect the body the same - by gradually making the adrenal glands less effective. Then you need more caffeine to keep up the same energy level. That effects the adrenal gland more.

I have been using the DrinkACT product daily for more than two years and love it. It is now April, 2011.
The drink itself has evolved and I think you should do an update report, because A.C.T. hasn't had creatine in it for years. I don't ever remember it being in the powder, which I first tried in 2005.
I sleep well. A.C.T. wakes me up smoothly and eliminates cravings for sweets. For me, it is a superior replacement for coffee.
I find A.C.T. the ideal healthy alternative to coffee. Check it out if you value your health. The dangers of heavily sweetened or artificially sweetened energy drinks are well-known by science.
