It's been awhile since I have reviewed any actual energy drinks as I have been focusing on the Private Label Contest as well as compiling a list of Energy Shots Reviewed. But now I am back to the grindstone and am going to introduce all you readers to FUEL Energy Drink (Fire Up Energy Levels) which was formulated to provide a healthy alternative for everyday beverage consumers. Meaning FUEL Energy Drink is a natural product... containing no artificial flavors, colors, dyes or preservatives. FUEL was launched in Northern California about 8 months ago and is currently available in select locations including, Raley's, Bel-Air and Nugget Markets and are poised for distribution. SO lets see if this natural energy drink can hold up to the taste and kick tests....

FUEL Energy Drink Review: Taste
First off, everytime I hear natural, whether it comes to a beverage or food, I am prepared for the worst. Every once in awhile I am surprised though... and that just happened to be the case with FUEL. Natural flavors including fruit and vegetable juice combined with natural pure sugar cane make this lightly carbonated drink a pleasure to consume. The fruit punch flavor was more than adaquete in covering up any energy ingredients or medicinal flavoring normally associated with energy beverages. I do have to say well done! - Taste Rating 9.1

So the natural fruit punch tastes great, but will FUEL deliver what the name (FIre Up Energy Levels) promises? Well the energy ingredients for a full 16 ounce serving include 160 milligrams of caffeine, 2000 milligrams of taurine, 50 milligrams of guarana extract, Panax Ginseng, Inosistol, Ginkgo Biloba and a large serving of b-vitamins. The energy ingredients are far from over the top, but they are in line with your typical Rockstar and Monster Energy Drink. It's not going to make you bounce off the walls, but it will do what it's supposed to... Fire up Energy Levels. Kick Rating - 8.2

I get tons of requests to review new drinks all the time from start up companies. Sure, I will try them all, but I am pleased when I find one that is actually well done. You can tell FIRE had a lot of thought and testing put into it as the taste and natural ingredients were both well received. Final Judgment - 8.8
