I previously reviewed the great tasting, decent kicking No Fear SoBe Energy Drink and I liked the taste so I thought I would give Adrenaline Rush a try. The only thing I am hoping will be better than No Fear is the kick. Let’s find out.
SoBe Adrenaline Rush Energy Drink Review: Taste
Right off the bat I was pleased with the taste of this beverage. This Sobe Energy drink tastes excellent, even if it is a passion fruit flavor. It is definitely on par, if not even a little better than the No Fear SoBe Energy Drink. The best thing about it is there is really no aftertaste at all. I can not find the slightest hint of any medicinal taste which is good. Hooray for Sobe Adrenaline, it's about time somebody hid the horrible energy drink ingredient flavors. Taste rating gets a nice 9.2, slightly better than No Fear.
SoBe Adrenaline Rush Energy Drink Review: Kick
This one does not have creatine in it like NO Fear, but it does come with the same surprising kick. The kick lasted a good four to five hours, which is great especially since there were no jitter effects. The main ingredients for energy seem to be caffeine and Guarana. When combining these you get some pretty good kick. At least enough to warrant an 8.5 for the kick rating.
SoBe Adrenaline Rush Energy Drink: Final Judgment
Tastes great, no medicinal aftertaste and gives off a fairly decent kick. You can buy them almost anywhere. Find them online and you can save a bunch of money by ordering in bulk. Even at the grocery store you can find them in 4-packs. Other wise they cost the same as any other energy drink out there, $1.99 at least you get 16 ounces with this one. Final judgment, not as good as the No Fear SoBe Energy Drink but close. I will give it a pleasing 8.6.

I agree that this is a darn good energy drink. Good kick and good flavor, but it needs a bigger can!
I'm not a blogggger, but this drink, is fabulous! It'd the ONLY energy drink I will drink all of.
NEWS:
They have a new updated can - which is I believe, twice the size as their previous ones. I think it's because so many people complained of the size (which was good), but bigger is better. Yahooo!
They have come out with a bigger can. I agree with every thing that was stated above. The only thing about this product was size. They did change the style and came out with a double shot. But now they are hard to find. Adrilline Rush is my favorite. I have bought out all the stores around me and pepsi has come in and cleared my spost and put the Sobe Essentails Energy drink in.
This drink does, indeed, kick some 'a'! I usually am not a fan of energy drinks, they are too concentrated... but, since I like the color orange AND I needed help staying awake on a drive from Virginia to Indiana, I chose this big can... and I have bought tons since! I am a night shift RN and drink these puppies at work as well as on my 45min drive home after working 12-14 hours.

I just got back from WinCo in Portland, OR and they have a coupon that makes this drink 38c per can. I bought five but I think I will go back for more. However, has the SoBe Ad. Rush changed or has it always been sugar free? I love the sugarless energy drinks. This one is good but I think it could use more caffeine.
So does anyone know what is going on? I can't find them anywhere anymore.. I love this drink and so does my hubby and all of the gas stations around us don't carry them anymore. I asked a worker at one and he said that they STOPPED making them? which can't be true cause I went on their website and it's still there.. what's going on???
This is MOS DEF the only energy drink I will drink, too! I HATE the taste of the others...The only thing I don't like is that the taste has changed since the bigger cans. I thought it was the greatest thing when I saw the big can, until I tasted the drink itself. I totally miss the smaller can's flavor. THAT WAS A 10! The big can gets a 9.0...and the kick is a must for me during my day.
I found the smaller cans in Canada. I always stock up when Im traveling through Canada. It's the only place I seem to be able to find the smaller cans.
I work in law enforcement-and the deputies and I always talk about the come-back of the smaller can.
AND-I have also just heard that Sobe was no longer going to make Adrenaline Rush!?! I hope it's all just a rumor....

i agree. i drank adrenaline rush for years. concerned about growing disappearance of it, i emailed the company and it was confirmed (01/21/09)that yes, sobe adrenaline rush is being discontinued. very upsetting.
Please do not take adrenaline rush and sugar free adrenaline rush off the market, they taste better than any energy drink on the market. They are refreshing!!!They give you alot of energy that the other drinks do not do...keep them available on the market and in FENTON, MISSOURI....
I've been drinking adrenaline rush since it came out,since they have discontinued it I've been trying others to see if there any that taste as good.what i found is that Nos is pretty close in taste to adrenaline rush.
I recently learned Sobe Adrenaline was discontinued. I am disappointed. It seems everyone I know drinks this. So why discontinue it. I have been drinking this since it first came out and nothing else I have tried is simliar in taste.
MAN i used to drink these all the time then i couldn't find them anywhere then I finally found them again it like every time i i find somewhere i buy tonz then there are never ne more and i move to the next......abd now they are being discontinued :'( i have found that in my desperate times the amped sugar free and the rush sugar free are almost the same but not quite *tear* Y Y Y are the goin bye bye
I am too a Sobe Adrenaline Rush drinker and am very upset when the company said this item did not sell as well so they are taking it off the market........I tried Amp as the 7/11 guy said this is the same if you read the back it has different vitamin etc. The taste is no where near as good either....
This is my all time favorite energy drink. The best tasting of them all and I've tried over 50 different kinds. I'm a drummer & it sure lights my fire for a great rehearsal. But I've heard that the company is discontinuing it. So get the last remaining cans while you can, I heard they are coming out with some new flavors. If you're looking for another energy drink that is pretty good tasting(I'm very picky after drinking Adrenaline Rush) then try Rockstar "Pomegrante" flavor, not bad, but nowhere near the kick. "SOBE ANDRENALINE RUSH" rocks!!!!

Sobe Adrenaline Rush is the only row that has to be re-stocked in the stores I frequent. The other rows are full of garbage that nobody will try twice. To discontinue a product people enjoy and are willing to buy daily is just bad business. I'd like to see stores stop selling coffee, and see what happens...

I've been drinking Sobe adrenaline rush since it came out... i went through a period where i was drinking 5+ per day!!!!!!!! i still drink them religiously and refuse any other energy drink or soda. i just found out it today it is discontinued and am willing to start a petition if that is what it takes to get it back on the market!

Adrenaline Rush was great, was bummed when I could not get it anymore..I went through almost every energy to try to find something close...I found one close. NOS in the blue and orange can if available near you. But the flavor is passionfruit and a close match and reminds me of the sobe. I hope this helps the withdraw symtoms.....
Yeah, I have been getting NOS now. It is the closest match in flavor. But NOS has a little more "punch" to it, and I was happy with the subtlety of Adrenaline Rush. It was just the right amount of "kick" for me. I have to moderate how fast I drink a NOS or I get a caffeine rush. Also I liked the little 8.5oz cans. NOS is good, though, and saved me from all of the also-rans out there that are nothing to write home about.
Sobe Adrenaline Rush is the best energy drink on the market. I've been drinking it since it came out. They need to bring it back...It obliviously was popular since stores could not keep it in stock where I would buy it...heck I was buying it by case when could get it.....Definitely need petition to bring it back...Adrenaline Rush lover....heck i rate that drink as a 10....

OMG I have been looking everywhere lately for a freakin Sobe Adrenaline. Today is 6/8/2009 and still no luck. I went to all the usual places I used to get them and I STILL can't find it. Now thanks to you guys I see why I haven't been seeing them :( That is the ONLY energy drink I drink/drank. Now I guess my last. I can't believe they discontinued it. I've also been drinking it since the beginning.

As far as replacements are concerned, I've found the No Fear sugar-free and the Venom Mojave Rattler (also sugar-free) to be alright substitutes for those of us that drank the sugar-free Sobe. Venom is a bit pricey, but I've found the No Fear for the same deal (2 for $3) as the Adrenaline Rush used to be.

This is a great product and nothing compares all the stores are finally out in my area and I am unable to find any further. AR will be missed and the company is silly to not at least offer a direct purchase option from their website.
