To start off this beverage comes in a unique slim 15.5 ounce plastic reseal able bottle. Hydrive Acai Berry only contains 25 calories and is made from spring water. Well how does it taste? If you have never tried a beverage made with acai berries it might be hard to describe. It has a definite tropical berry taste, but the lack of sugar means the taste is not overwhelming. Besides the tropical taste the refreshing quality of this drink is outstanding. On the Hydrive site they say one of the uses of Hydrive is to help get rid of a hangover. I did not try it after a night out of drinking but I can definitely see the merits of that claim as it is really refreshing. I will give it a refreshing 8.4 for taste - very good for a health conscious energy drink.

The tell all of energy beverages - does it have a decent kick? The actual amount of caffeine listed was hard to find but I found it for you. There is 145 mg of caffeine in each bottle! Compare this to the 80 mg of caffeine in a Redbull or the normal 100 mg of caffeine in a cup of coffee and we have ourselves a winner. I tried this right before a workout and I had enough energy to spare even after 30 minutes of intense cardio! On top of that I had no jitters, experienced no cramps and had no crash after the workout. This health conscious beverage scores again this time with a nice kick rating of 8.3!
