Vault Energy Drink Review
We have all grown up drinking Mountain Dew and some of us even remember drinking Surge. Well Coca Cola has released, Vault Energy Drink which is a cross between the two. How could you go wrong with this combo, it tastes like a soda but has the kick of an energy beverage. Vault the drink has 20% more caffeine than Mountain Dew and tastes eerily similar.

The vault citrus flavored energy drink tastes similar to Mountain Dew with the exception of an extra citrus kick. The citrus flavor is not as overwhelming as Surge but it is a little much for my taste. I would like to try Vault zero which is the same concept as Vault the drink but without all the calories. I think Vault Zero would get rid of some of the extra citrus flavor that I was not fond of. Vault energy drink does claim that it drinks like a soda and kicks like an energy beverage and I would have to agree with that. The Vault Energy Drink review for taste gets an average 7.

The taste is OK, but how does it measure up in the kick department? The main energy component of this drink is caffeine. It has 70.5 mg per 12 ounce can compared to Mountain Dew's 55 mg per 12 ounce can. Normal people would probably feel the kick, but since I have been drinking caffeinated beverages straight from the nursing bottle I was not overly impressed with the kick. The kick lasted for about 2-3 hours but after that it just fizzled out. This is probably not the drink you want to rely on for that all night cram session. The Vault Drink review for kick gets an average 6.

Vault Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
The taste was average, the kick was average but the price is great. You can buy Vault pretty much anywhere and it comes in 20 ounce bottles or 12 -16 ounce cans and 2 liter bottles. The price is on the same level as your normal soft drink. For the final judgment I would have to give the drink a generous 7.5 because you get more
kick for your dollar.

This drink comes in a blue glass bottle and tastes great. Bawls energy drink is by far one of the best tasting on the market in my opinion. This not only tastes great, kind of like a sierra mist, without the carbonation, it would make for a stellar mix drink. Add a little vodka and your are set! This is also available in sugar free. We established that is tastes great, with and without vodka, but does it give you a kick in the balls like its name suggests. I would have to say that it is one of the more powerful energy beverages out there, I took it after a hot day sitting in class and it kept me going strong for another 6-8 hours. That is pretty good since I am a lazy bastard. Bawls Energy review for kick (in the bawls) gets a high 9.

Bawls Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
I raved about the taste, I told you it gave me a good kick that lasted for about 6-8 hours but I am not too happy about the price of $3.00 a bottle. The good news is that you can get them at any 7-11 and you can find them online in bulk for around $24.00 for a case of 12. For a final judgment I would have to give this drink
an 8.5. It is just too expensive to be slamming one of these $3.00 bad boys every day.

Want a quick burst of energy without slamming 10-20 ounces of liquid? If you answered yes, than the Rocket Shot energy drink will be perfect for you. What could be better than taking a shot that gives you quick energy? How about combining it with vodka? I didn't get around to it but it might be something to look into. Now onto the serious stuff that you all want to know about the Rocket Shot energy drink.

Well the Rocket Shot energy drink that I tried was berry flavored. Advisory, shake well before drinking! Alright it turns out there is a little work to be done before slamming this drink. You must shake it well before slamming; otherwise you will end up like me with a mouthful of tiny flavor crystals (and by flavor crystals I mean crap). Trust me the berry taste is not that good, especially if you forget to shake. The only positive thing about the berry flavor is that it only comes in 1.8 ounces, so the pain is over quickly. The Rocket Shot Energy Drink review for taste gets a 5.0. And that’s being nice, I am giving it the benefit of the doubt that it tastes better after being shaken.

Even though it tastes bad and only comes in 1.8 ounces, this little bastard puts out quite the kick. There was no waiting, I could feel the extra energy within 15 minutes of shooting this drink. It did not last quite as long as normal energy beverages (what do you expect from 1.8 ounces). I found myself day dreaming in psychology 101 about two hours after I was done. The Rocket Shot Energy review for kick gets an average 7.

Rocket Shot Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Although I am glad this berry drink veered away from the overwhelming citrus flavor that most energy beverages use, I am not glad that it came with crystal crap at the bottom. It's like doing a shot of Goldschlauger, but multiply the floaters in that by 100. The kick from this drink was not too bad; it started right away and lasted a reasonable amount of time. The final judgment is a 6. I liked not having to chug 10-20 ounces to get a kick, but I was not too fond of the taste or price.

NOS Energy Drink Review:
This drink is basically trying to ride the coat tails of the Fast and the Furious movies. They used Nitrous Oxide Systems in their import cars to make them faster and that is what NOS Energy Drinks will do for you as well. So the name is basically a marketing gimmick. But does it work?

NOS Energy Drink Taste:
NOS differs from the normal energy drink taste of Red Bull as it comes in a citrus flavor. I like the fact that NOS Energy Drinks do not taste like Red Bull but this citrus flavor was pretty sweet. It reminds me of a passion fruit with a bit of tang. Don't recommend having after a hangover, the taste will not help your cotton mouth. The NOS Energy Drink review for taste gets a 6.0.

NOS Energy Drink Review: Kick
The taurine, caffeine and ginseng do give you a nice kick. The kick lasted longer than I expected and there was not too much of a crash after I was finished which I liked. As I said earlier this is not great for a hangover but it will definitely get you through a two hour lecture of sociology. The NOS review for kick gets a 7.5.

NOS Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
The citrus flavor is the only flavor that I found at the store if any one else knows of other flavors they should let me know because I enjoyed the kick I got from the drink, but the flavor was not to my liking. No real cost benefit, same price as all the other $2.00 energy beverages out there. The final judgment rating is a 6.5 as the flavor drags down the benefits of the kick.

Welcome to a fellow energy drink junkies blog. In college I lived off of energy drinks. They not only kept me going, they actually helped me graduate college. For those of you who have been there you know what I mean. Energy drinks got me through that late night studying (by studying I mean drinking) that always made you pay the price the next day. Before going to class the next morning (by morning I mean afternoon and by afternoon I mean late afternoon) I would grab an energy drink, usually Red Bull and a bowl of cereal and be ready for class. What more could you ask for right? Energy drinks are something that not only got you going but would keep you going.

Well as college went on I got sick of drinking Red Bull. I was having it for breakfast and lunch and sometimes I would have it with diner (and by diner I mean Vodka Red Bulls). This is when I got it in my head to try as many energy drinks as humanly possible. Why not? What else would I have to keep me occupied in college (besides partying and women).

Trying out all these energy drinks would keep me occupied during college and I figured I might as well share the results with you. That is why I started this energy drink ratings blog, to keep me sane and to keep you posted on the variety of energy drinks that are available. I will post every time I try a new energy drink and every time I here of energy drink specials, because as you all know buying in bulk can save you money. I learned that in Econ 101.

An energy drink ratings system is probably in order so here is what I came up with. Let me know if you see any ways to improve it.

Taste Rating: Rating based out of 10 with 10 being the best and 0 the worst
Kick Rating: Rating based out of 10 with 10 being the best and 0 the worst
Final Judgment Rating: Overall score is based on cost, taste, and kick. Score will again be out of 10 with 10 being the best and 0 being the worst.
