Energy Drink Review
So it has come time for me to try another line of Energy Drink Mixers. I originally reviewed the full line up of Jet Set Energy Drink mixers quite some time ago and recently noticed that they have some competition coming from the Hi-Ball Energy Drink Mixers. Now I am not sure which one came out first, but since I tried Jet Set first that is what I will use as a comparison for Hi-Ball. Right off the bat you notice a difference between Jet Set and Hi-Ball as Hi-Ball comes in a 10 ounce glass bottle whereas Jet Set comes in a sleek can. Other than that let's see how Hi-Ball Lemon Lime performs in the taste and kick categories.
Energy Drink Review: Taste
Well first off this drink is meant to be an energy mixer, meaning add this to your cocktail. So I opted for a somewhat traditional drink called a brandy fizz. Normally you make this with brandy, lemon juice, club soda and a little sugar. So instead of the club soda and lemon juice I mixed in the Hi-Ball lemon lime and I have to say that it was a pretty decent substitute. Now this is by no means my normal drink, normally I will have a Seagram’s Seven, but it was not too bad. I did save a little of the lemon lime Hi-Ball to try separate from the cocktail. Pretty much tastes like a club soda with a slight hint of lemon and lime. Not really my cup of tea but for those who like club soda this would be a great substitute with a little kick. Taste is pretty similar to Jet Set. Taste Rating - 8.0
Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well the idea of an energy mixer is to spice up your cocktail with a little caffeine. That is were Hi-Ball falls a little short compared to the competition as it has 75 milligrams of caffeine in a 10 ounce serving whereas Jet Set has 120 milligrams. Don't get me wrong, the 75 milligrams of caffeine combined with taurine and guarana extract is enough to add a kick to your drink, but if you are looking for a bigger kick than I suggest trying a Jet Set. Kick Rating - 8.0
Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
The taste is pretty comparable to the competition, but Hi-Ball falls short in the kick category. Nevertheless, it still makes a nice energy mixer so if you are looking for a little something to spice up your drink that give Hi-Ball a shot. You can pick them up at Albertsons, Safeway & Whole Foods. Final Judgment - 8.0

XO-5 Berry Energy Drink Review
Well this will be the last Energy Drink Review I will be doing for the XO Energy Drinks unless they come up with new product or flavors. I have tried the previous 5 flavors of XO and I have to say I have been quite pleased with all of them in both the taste and kick categories. Here is a brief background on the XO. First off they come in a resealable 6 ounce plastic bottle that has 110 total calories. This may sound like a lot of calories for such a tiny ED but I will expand on this further in the kick review. Since this drink is not carbonated I am going to use it this morning during my workout. Let's see if it performs as well as the last five.

XO-5 Berry Energy Drink Review: Taste
At about 6:15 a.m. I started to make my way to the gym. It's about a 15 minute drive to the gym and on the way I cracked the XO Berry Energy Drink. I drank it at room temperature and I would have to say that this was probably one of the smoothest berry flavored energy drinks that I have tried. It's at these times I wish the XO came in larger or double sizes just so you could enjoy them longer as 6 ounces goes down pretty quick, especially since it is so smooth. Out of the total 6 reviews on the XO Energy Drinks this one might be my favorite, or at least a close tie with the XO Vanilla. Taste Rating - 9.0
XO-5 Berry Energy Drink Review: Kick
So the flavor is smooth berry. I already knew how the kick would perform as all 6 flavors use the same energy ingredients which include 47 milligrams of caffeine, 800 milligrams of taurine and 2 milligrams of B6. I know your saying, only 47 milligrams of caffeine? How does that work? Well when you combine all those energy ingredients with 27 grams of carbs you get a pretty good kick. Especially since you get a nice quick kick from the caffeine and B-Vitamins and a sustained boost from the carbohydrates. This is why I enjoy using the XO products at the gym. By the time I get there (15 minutes) I am pumped and ready to go, yet I have sustained energy to last me through my hour or so session at the gym. Overall a good kick, almost as good as 5 Hour Energy. Kick Rating - 8.9
XO-5 Berry Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Although I liked some flavors more than others, I would have to say that the XO lineup is by far one of the best tasting energy shots available on the market. There is probably a flavor for everyone and all of them are quite smooth. Pick one of these up, in my opinion it is worth it. You can pick one of these 6 ounce shots up for $1.69 to $1.99. Final Judgment 9.0

Cheetah Energy Drink Review
Well today I found myself dipping into the bargain bin at Big Lots. What did I find? A $0.60 12 ounce Cheetah Energy Drink manufactured by City Ice Beverages, Inc. of San Jose, California. That's right you can pick up one of these Energy Drinks for only $0.60. I know what you are thinking, for $0.60 this thing must taste like crap and give no energy. Well I have never tried one before, so until then let's not jump to conclusions. So onto the taste and kick reviews!
Cheetah Energy Drink Review: Taste
First off there is only 80 calories in this 12 ounce Cheetah Energy Drink which is not bad as there are no claims of diet energy drink. This is made possible by the addition of artificial sweeteners, which you can taste in the drink. Even though you can slightly taste the artificial sweeteners there is a fairly decent fruity / lemon flavor to this beverage. It actually masks the energy ingredients quite well. Well not the best tasting drink on the market it is definitely beats Red Bull's taste and gives the Monster Energy Drink a run for the money. Taste Rating - 8.2
Cheetah Energy Drink Review: Kick
For $0.60 the taste was well worth it, but will it give me Cheetah type energy followed by a quick crash? Well the energy ingredients include Caffeine, Guarana Extract, Yerba Mate Extract and a bunch of B-Vitamins. The energy from this was actually not too bad. Probably got 2-3 hours worth of energy with a slight crash, but overall not too bad as their are only 18 grams of sugar. Oh, and I have to mention that Cheetah Energy also has the ever popular Horny Goat Weed as an ingredient - just a little sexual prowess to add to the energy level! Again, for $0.60 I would take one of these over a Red Bull any day. Kick Rating - 8.4
Cheetah Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
$0.60 for an ED. Do I really have to say more? You can get 3 of these for less than the price of one Red Bull. You get more energy and a better taste so stay on the lookout for these at your local Big Lots. Final Judgment 8.8 (brownie points for the price!)

Diet Jet Set Energy Drink Review
Well it has been quite some time since I reviewed the Original Jet Set Energy Drink but I remember it quite well. So when I heard of the new Diet Jet Set Energy Drink I was pretty excited to give it a try. The Diet Jet Set comes in a sleek well designed 10.5 ounce (single serving) can and it has only 4 calories in the entire can. This new Diet Jet Set comes in addition to the Original Jet Set and their full line of Energy Mixers. So let's see how it performs in the taste and kick categories.
Diet Jet Set Energy Drink Review: Taste
Now the original Jet Set tasted very similar to Red Bull. The only difference seemed to be that the formula was improved to deliver a smoother taste without the medicinal aftertaste that will forever be associated with Red Bull (at least in my mind). This formula carries over to the new diet addition as well. There are slight changes in the taste as it seems there is less carbonation in Diet Jet Set compared to original. It also seems that the diet flavor delivers a smoother and lighter taste. To be honest I personally liked the diet version better than the original, although I think the fact that it has only 4 calories might sway my opinion. So if you like Red Bull then I suggest you give this new Diet Jet Set a try as it vastly improves on the medicinal flavored Red Bull. Taste Rating - 8.6
Diet Jet Set Energy Drink Review: Kick
Alright the taste is smoother and lighter, let's hope these characteristics don't carry over into the kick category because that's the last thing you really want in an Energy Drink. When reviewing the nutritional facts it looks like the Diet Jet Set has the same energy ingredients as the Original meaning there is 100 milligrams of caffeine, 25 milligrams of guarana, ginseng and plenty of B-Vitamins. So not only does this taste better than Red Bull, it walks all over it in the kick category as well. Not too bad for a can that costs the same. Oh yeah, and since it is sugar free, I didn't have to worry about any sugary crash after the energy wears off. Overall a nice kick. Kick Rating - 8.8
Diet Jet Set Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Since Jet Set carries a full line of energy mixers I was glad that they also added a diet version to the lineup. I mean I like to party but I also don't like to go out drinking and come home having consumed 1000's of calories in booze. Not that I would ever do that. Normally I don't appreciate Red Bull Clones as much as other ED's, but when you vastly improve on the formula to get rid of the horrible aftertaste I can't do anything but tip my hat. So put down that damn Red Bull already and pick up one of these instead. Final Judgment - 8.8
I also hear the Full Line of Energy Mixers is going Diet as well. Can't wait to get my hands on these as they make a nice pick me up to your normal everyday cocktail!

Hooters Lite Energy Drink Review
I had two trains of thoughts going on when I first heard of the Hooters Energy Drinks. The first being that, great another energy drink that tastes like all the rest, basically just Hooters trying to cash in on the ever growing market. My second thought was, yeah!!! Hooters Energy Drink. Yeah, that is pretty much it. So here is what I think of the Hooters Lite Energy Drink in the taste and kick category.
Hooters Lite Energy Drink Review: Taste
Although this drink has more of an orange tint to it, it is basically a Red Bull Energy Drink clone. The only difference is that it is has a slightly less medicinal taste to it and that it is sugar free. So if you have had a Red Bull you have pretty much had a Hooter's Lite Energy Drink. There does seem to be one other thing that Hooters does to distinguish itself from Red Bull, it has a better looking can! Taste Rating - 7.5
Hooters Lite Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well it tastes the same as a Red Bull, but does it deliver a better kick? You bet. With a laundry list of energy ingredients including, almost 2000 milligrams of taurine, 220 milligrams of caffeine, 266 milligrams of guarana extract, plenty of B-Vitamins and 266 milligrams of ginseng extract (full 16 ounce serving) it pretty much puts Red Bull to shame (until you double the size and then it is closer to even). Kick Rating - 8.7
Hooters Lite Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
With a taste similar to Red Bull and a kick that is quite a bit stronger this beverage is not too bad. However, I think the main appeal of this drink comes from the brand name. Otherwise there is really no need to try more than one of these unless they started changing the model on the can every month to match the Hooters calendar. That might be something to spark some more attention to this beverage! Final Judgment - 8.1

Brawndo Energy Drink Review
Not too long ago I bumped into the Brawndo Energy Drink video which caught my attention. From there I went straight to the Brawndo Energy Drink website as the name sounded familiar. Sure enough it was that Energy Drink from the movie Idiocracy. In the movie they use Brawndo The Thirst Mutilator to water the plants because it has electrolytes. They deem that this is better for the plants since water is used in the toilets. Anyways funny movie and another great product idea from Redux Beverages, the company that introduced the Cocaine Energy Drink that later got banned and renamed. So again Redux Beverages should get a lot of free press from their innovative Gorilla Marketing tactics. Heck I was excited to get it! So let's see if the Brawndo Energy Drink works out better for humans than it does plants.
Brawndo Energy Drink Review: Taste
Since this drink contains electrolytes I was not looking for a taste that jumps out at you. I was expecting more of a Hybrid ED flavor, or a cross between an ED and sports beverage like Gatorade and Powerade. This assumption was pretty much correct. The flavor does not stand out as much as a normal ED, but it does have more flavor than your typical watered down tasting sports drink. Brawndo The Thirst Mutilator has a distinct lime flavor that seemed to even have an orange aftertaste. The lime flavor is pulled off quite nicely and the carbonation level of this drink seems to be spot on. So, again Redux Beverages has seemed to nail the flavoring pretty well; especially since there was not even a hint of medicinal aftertaste from the energy ingredients. Taste Rating - 8.8
Brawndo Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well the taste is great, kind of a cross between an energy drink and a sports drink which is pretty much what you would expect for a hybrid energy drink. But how does it perform in the kick category? Well this ED is packed full of energy ingredients that includes (per 16 ounce serving) 200 milligrams of caffeine, 50 milligrams of Guarana Extract, 1000 milligrams of taurine and a bunch of B-Vitamins. So it definitely delivered a solid kick. Since it is a hybrid energy drink I had the choice of using it at the gym or just for some extra kick at the office. I choose the later and was more than satisfied. There might have been a tad bit much carbonation in this beverage to use at the gym, at least immediately before or during a workout. However, it would work great if consumed 30-60 minutes before a workout. Even with the intense levels of caffeine since this drink also contains electrolytes, even more than Gatorade and Powerade. So this thirst mutilator gets a healthy kick rating of 9.1.
Brawndo Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Unique idea for a hybrid ED. When combined with the growing popularity of the (soon to be?) cult classic Idiocracy and gorilla marketing tactics of Redux Beverage you have a ED that has some pretty good staying power. More thought went into this ED than most others I have come across. And at $2.00 a can, or $39.95 for a case of 24 16 ouncer's they are very competitively priced. Final Judgment - 9.0

Energy Drink Ratings Explained
Clamato Energy Drink Review
Well I didn't know anything about this particular Energy Drink when I first got it and I really don't know too much about the Clamato Energy Drink after trying it besides the taste and kick factors. I do know that the 15.5 ounce can is mostly in English but their are several logos and phrases splattered in Spanish. I believe (nutrition facts hard to understand) that this drink has only 90 calories in the entire can which is not too bad for an energy drink. That about sum's up my knowledge of the Clamato Energy Drink, so here is the results from the taste and kick reviews.
Clamato Energy Drink Review: Taste
Have you ever had a V-8? Do you like V-8? Well I have had a V-8 and am not a huge fan of the flavor so this might bias the taste review quite a bit as the Clamato Energy Drink tastes exactly like a V-8. You can't taste any medicinal ingredients at all as the V-8 taste over powers everything. Not really anything else to say when describing the taste. You are either going to like it or hate it depending on whether or not you like V-8. Taste Rating - 7.0 (as you can see I am not a huge fan of V-8, but to each his own!)
Clamato Energy Drink Review: Kick
The energy ingredients of this can include a decent amount of B-Vitamins, taurine, caffeine, Guarana and Ginseng. So the kick is not that bad, but it is nothing to jump about. I did get some energy from it, maybe 2 hours worth. At least I didn't have a energy crash. Kick Rating - 7.5
Clamato Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
So it looks like they are marketing the Clamato Energia Drink towards the health conscious and spanish speaking markets. They do make a decent effort but some of the ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and tons of sodium are going to turn off the health conscious crowd even though it is 16% juice. Can't comment on how the Spanish speaking market will respond to this drink as I am not in that demographic. This one was not for me. On the other hand now that I think of it this could be a great addition to a Bloody Mary. Yeah, I like bloody Mary's, do you? Final Judgment - 7.3

Lemon Lime On Go Energy Shot Review:
Well today I get to review an energy shot, which I have not done for quite some time. Sometimes I shy away from Energy Shots as they are not always the best tasting. And sometimes the promise of tons of energy in a little shot is not always delivered upon. I did not know too much about the On Go Energy shot going into the review besides that it is 2 ounces, has 8 calories and costs about $2.99. So lets see if the Lemon Lime On Go Energy Shot has what it takes to be an energy shot.

Lemon Lime On Go Energy Shot Review: Taste
Well since there is only 2 ounces it is kind of hard to pinpoint a taste. However, even though I slammed the Energy Shot (as you should) I tasted a distinct lemon flavor. I don't know if the lemon flavor over powered the lime but I just was not able to taste it. It was either that or the fact that I slammed it! Either way I was pleased as usually energy shots have a very strong medicinal taste to them as they have to cram all those energy ingredients into a tiny bottle. Not the case with the Lemon Lime On Go. It is actually one of the better tasting energy shots out there as far as I am concerned and is really well done considering it has 0 carbs and no sugar. Taste Rating - 8.8
Lemon Lime On Go Energy Shot Review: Kick
Well the taste was pretty good, but can this tiny little 2 ounce shot deliver in the energy category? Well with tons of B-Vitamins and an 1870 milligram energy blend containing caffeine, taurine and a bunch of other ingredients I don't know too much about it sure delivered. I was very pleased with the results. NO Crash because there is No Sugar. The On Go Shot also contains electrolytes which in my opinion makes this shot a good pick me up before a workout. Kick Rating - 9.1
Lemon Lime On Go Energy Shot Review: Final Judgment
Great taste and a strong kick. I can't wait to try the berry blast flavor as well. If you are a fan of energy shots then I recommend at least giving this one a try. Final Judgment - 9.0

Ol'Glory Energy Drink Review
Well today I am going to review one of the Energy Drinks out there at only $0.99. That's right the Ol' Glory Energy Drink was only $0.99 at WalMart, I couldn't refuse. The can itself was somewhat cheesy with a patriotic theme (not that being a patriot is cheesy) and a bunch of slogan's like America's Best Energy Drink. It also lists the pledge of allegiance on the can. I especially liked the one on the bottom of the can that says "Improves your over-all efficiency & physical performance." Let's see if that statement from the Ol' Glory Energy Drink holds up.
Ol'Glory Energy Drink Review: Taste
Well first off I was not expecting anything to original for $0.99 in the taste category. I was right, it is pretty much a knock off of the Monster Energy Drink. Nothing wrong with that as the Original Monster is not too bad, but it is nothing special. Taste Rating - 8.0
Ol'Glory Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well the Ol Glory Energy Drink contains 100 milligrams of caffeine, 20 milligrams of guarana extract, 500 milligrams of taurine and some B-Vitamins which is pretty weak considering these are the ingredients for a 16 ounce can. Even though the drink stated that it would improve my physical performance I did not bother to give it a try as the drink was highly carbonated and contained 54 milligrams of sugar. So I drank it...Got a small kick... and then crashed pretty hard. Kick Rating - 5.0
Ol'Glory Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Turns out there is a reason this is $0.99. The taste is a knockoff (and not a good one) and the kick is pretty damn weak. This is one of the only times I recommend staying away from an energy drink. If it was $0.25 I could see it being worth it, but I will never buy this one again, even though it is only $0.99 for 16 ounces. Final Judgment - 6.0

Hogan Energy Drink Review
Well this one has been out for quite awhile actually and I had planned to review the Hulk Energy Drink a long time ago since it was sitting in my upcoming Upcoming Energy Drinks section for quite some time (since June 2006 actually). However, I never actually ran into one and Socko (the parent company) never bothered to send me samples. Well I finally got my hands on the original Hogan Energy Drink so let's see how it fares in the review!
Hogan Energy Drink Review: Taste
What I can distinguish from the somewhat watered down flavor is a hint of watermelon capped off with a green apple flavor. When I say watered down I just mean it does not have that head turning bite like most ED's which in itself is not a bad thing. However, a big strong wrestler like the Hulk should have a strong drink as well but that is just not the case. The watermelon apple flavor did not quite do the trick for me and it was actually kind of a weird citrus flavor. I am not saying it is bad I have just had better. Since the Hulk probably had nothing to do with the flavor I am pretty sure I am safe from being brutally beaten after giving it sub par taste rating. Taste Rating - 8.0
Hogan Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well the taste was sub par but how does the Hulk Hogan Energy Drink stack up in the kick department? Well the energy ingredients include caffeine (unlisted amount) as well as 50 milligrams of guarana extract, 50 milligrams of Yerba Mate, 2000 milligrams of taurine and a bunch of b-vitamins. To top it all off their is some horny goat weed added to the drink which is supposed to increase your sex drive (don't quote me on that). Do you think the Hulk had anything to do with this addition? Either way the combination of energy ingredients did provide a slightly above average kick, but not enough to help me rip my shirt off. Kick Rating - 8.8
Hogan Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
I would classify this as more of a novelty energy drink than anything. Although it did perform decent in the kick category I don't see this having the staying power of the more popular ED's like Monster Energy Drink, Red Bull and Rockstar. But hey I could be wrong, it did happen one other time. Final Judgment - 8.4

Joker Lo-Carb Energy Drink Review
Well the Joker Lo-Carb Energy Drink has been around for quite some time
and I finally got my hands on one to do an Energy Drink Review. Now this although this is my first review on the Joker Energy Drink lineup it is not my first time drinking one. I had one a couple years back and I remember enjoying it. So let's hope my memory is not failing me already as I am kind of excited to review the Lo-Carb Joker. So enough fluff and onto the review.
Joker Lo-Carb Energy Drink Review: Taste
First off the similarities between this and the Monster Energy Drink Lo Carb are almost eerie. There is a bit more carbonation and the Joker is a little sweeter but the flavor is pretty much the same (plethora of fruity type flavors that is hard to describe). I wish I could put my finger on the exact taste for the readers but it is extremely hard to describe as a lot of Energy Drinks are. If anyone can put a better spin on the taste review feel free to post in the comment section below. Sidenote: This drink predominantly uses artificial sweeteners but there is a trace amount of sugar (via glucose) which is why the drink is labeled low carb and not sugar free. Taste Rating - 8.4
Joker Lo-Carb Energy Drink Review: Kick
The taste is not too bad and I definitely like the 10 calorie per serving factor, but will this drink provide me with the get up and go I need in the morning? Well the energy ingredients include Caffeine (not sure how much), taurine and ginseng. The total energy blend comes to about 5000 milligrams which also puts the drink on par with the likes of most drinks like Monster and Rock Star. Not the strongest, but not too shabby either. This is pretty much the same as everything you are going
to find in the convenience store cooler. Kick Rating - 8.7
Joker Lo-Carb Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
So either my memory has served me wrong or I tried one of the several other variations of the Joker Energy Drink. Usually I give high ratings to lo-carb. lo-calorie energy drinks as I like getting my kick with out all the added calories and sugar. But this Joker drink is nothing really to brag about and is pretty much ordinary. Nonetheless at least the can looks really cool and the $1.99 price tag is competitive. Final Judgment - 8.5

Mozart Chocolate Energy Drink Review
Today I have another first for Energy Drink Reviews as I am going to try my first chocolate Energy Drink. That's right the Mozart Energy Drink or otherwise known as"The World's First Chocolate Energy Drink" made by Mozart International is slated for review. This little 8.4 ounce slim is packed full of good chocalate smells so I was rather excited to get going on the review.
Mozart Chocolate Energy Drink Review: Taste
First off the name pretty much states what Mozart Energy Drink tastes like - Chocalate. However, the drink is slightly carbonated which brings out a hint of flavoring that tastes somewhat like a coke. A chocolate flavored coke is a weird way to describe the taste; however. the combination definitely works. The choice of an 8.4 ounce vs. a 12 or 16 ounce can seems to be logical as Mozart Chocalate Energy Drink is pretty sweet. However, if you are a big fan of chocolate (which I am really not) than you should have no problem with the level of sweetness in this drink. Overall, the flavor was very pleasing and is definitely worth a try if you are a chocolate lover. Taste Rating - 9.1
Mozart Chocolate Energy Drink Review: Kick
Well the taste was uniques and pleasing, but how is the kick? Well the energy blend contains the following ingredients; caffeine, guarana, green tea and b-vitamins. There is also 36 grams of carbohydrates in here which in itself provides energy. So combining the carbs and energy ingredients made for a delightful pick me up. Again not one of the strongest but it definitely does the trick. Kick Rating - 8.6
Mozart Chocolate Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Good flavor and an above average kick. Combine that with the rich antioxidant properties of chocolate and you have a drink worth trying. My only complaint is that the can has 140 calories; however, the majority (almost all) of those calories comes from carbs which is one of the properties that is giving you the energy. Final Judgment - 8.8

Red Bull Sugar Free Energy Drink Review
Yeah, Yeah Yeah. I know what you are all saying. What is the point of even reviewing another Red Bull Energy Drink? Everyone has had it. Well I want to do a review on the sugar free Red Bull because it has been around forever. That and I run an Energy Drink Review website and I have yet to rate one of the most popular Sugar Free Energy Drinks out there. So I guess I will get cracking on the review of the 8.4 ounce sugar free Red Bull Energy Drink.
Red Bull Sugar Free Energy Drink Review: Taste
First off I would like to say that this review might be somewhat biased as I am not the biggest fan of Red Bull type energy drink flavors; especially since I have had the opportunity to review so many others that just offer more flavor. That being said, if you are reading this you have probably already tried either a sugar free Red Bull or regular Red Bull. The flavor is hard to describe, all I can really say is that it has a very noticeable medicinal aftertaste (from the energy ingredients) even more so than the original. The only thing that makes the Sugar Free Red Bull better that the original is that it only has 10 calories (8.4 ounces). Nuff said. Taste Rating - 7.2
Red Bull Sugar Free Energy Energy Drink Review: Kick
So as you can tell I am not a huge fan of the Red Bull taste; however, taste is subjective so a lot of people will disagree with me on the taste rating. But, the Kick review does not lie. For $2.00 (8.4 Ounces) you get 80 milligrams of caffeine, 1000 milligrams of taurine and some b-vitamins. Compare that to some of the Strongest Energy Drinks and Red Bull is not even playing the same game. A little over 9.5 milligrams of caffeine per ounce is pretty weak, especially compared to the likes of a Spike Energy Drink at 300 milligrams of caffeine, or 35.7 milligrams of caffeine per ounce. Some might say that they are not looking for a huge kick, that is why they like Red Bull. Well in that case buy a 20 ounce sugar free soda with caffeine and you get almost the same effect at half the price. Kick Rating - 7.7
Red Bull Sugar Free Energy Drink Review: Final Judgment
Well regardless of whether or not you agree with me, this is what I think of Red Bull Sugar Free (and original for that matter). There are 900 + other choices out there. I have reviewed about 200 or so and would rate about 80% of them better than RB. However, without RB making the market so popular we would not have those other 900 + ED's. So at least they have that going for them. Post your comments on RB and RB SF below if you do or don't agree with my review. Final Judgment - 7.4
